how to lose facial fat?

I am very skinny but have been trying to put on weight lately. i am 5'11 160 lbs. I want to lose some weight in my face so my jaw projects more and such. How do I do this, any tips?

Sounds like you are skinny fat.

This means you are skinny, yet still carry quite a bit of fat on you. This would explain the facial fat. You need to lose fat overall, whilst gaining muscle. There is no way you can spot reduce fat, it goes from everywhere as you drop your bf%.

If you have a chubby-cheeked face,
cutting your hair short will just
accentuate your chipmunk look
further.
5'11" and 160???
I would normally tell you to lose
a lot of your weight but you're already
maxed out in the underweight dept.

Plastic surgery?

People just have fat faces, it's genetics. Just look at Amanda Bynes, she's skinny as hell and as a fat face. There's nothing you can do about it besides plastic surgery.

Yup, it's genetics. That's why the first place on my body to lose fat is my face, then the stomach, and so on.

Listen to Quagmire.

He has given you the only real advice in this thread for fixing your problem.

Personal Trainers on other message boards I've read have said the same thing.

You cannot spot reduce fat you can only do cardio and lose fat and your body will get rid of fat where it wants to get rid of fat on you first.

Then as long as you keep up the cardio the place you want the fat to dissapear from it will dissapear from but yeah once again your body has the say where the fat gets removed from first when you start dieting and exercising.

I'm no expert, but my face does look a lot puffier when there is causes of inflammation in my life.

Try this:
Less stress
full nights sleep
fish oil
vit-c
healthy eating
exercise.

Gain 15lbs of muscle and lose 10lbs of fat and see if you still have that problem, or care about it.

As for the How... Well there's plenty of information on this board for that.

I agree with quicksilver. don't focus on your face because there's no way to spot lose fat.

go for the bigger goal, start a workout regimen. once you gain 15lbs muscle/lose 10lbs of fat i think you'll be flexing in the mirror instead of worrying about your face ;)
