How to keep faithful in a LTR??

I think I might find it hard to keep faithful in a LTR i want to keep faithful and id hate to hurt my GF. But I don’t want to stop going out with my friends and im afraid if i get a offer that’s to good to refuse I might take it.

So do you boys have any tips or general advice on how to stay faithful in a LTR?

I bring this up because today i got a call from this girl that lives in Melbourne (it is another State in Australia) i met her last time she was in Sydney (were im from) this was a few months ago. She is Muslim so we didn’t have any sex.

She is a cutie and she’s has a nice personality she said she’s coming down next weekend for a wedding and she said she really wants to see me. I must have left an impression .

So now im debating over whether or not to see her when she is here she is not as attractive as my GF but she is attractive none the less and its been a goal of mine to fu*k a Muslim girl (its not said that she will have sex that’s wishful thinking on my part).

So it’s a dilemma

Im just a lil inexperience in LTRs so I need some good solid advice.

I dont love my Gf but i dont want to hurt her.

I dont think she loves me if she does its news to me.

this is were the confusion comes in. Being a DJ isnt all fun and games.

I dont think im ready for a realationship if im tempted after a few days how will i survive a month.

I think i should let her know i cant be exclusive before she decides to have sex because by then itl will be more serious.....

Don't see her. You just started a new relationship with a girl who you not only are attracted to but who you actually know well and know that you like as a person. You'd be an idiot to screw that up. You have a girl you built a friendship with first. That makes for a good relationship. It would be dumb to risk losing that for something temporary.

that doesn't add up. If you dont love her, and she doesn't love you, you two aren't marriage material. I personally really do care about my g/f and wouldn't cheat on her. You don't so turn it into a practical problem:

being with g/f = lots of sex
Being with new girl = 1 night of possible sex

variables: how good your g/f is, how much you wanna bang new girl, how hard is it to find a new g/f if you get caught.
So...

if (g/f sex is good)+(geting lots of sex from her) is better than (how much you like new girl)+(how likely it is you will get sex), then don't do it. If on the other hand you reverse that, then go for it.

Oh, and if you are the kind of guy that could find an equally attractive g/f easily, then fvck it and go for it, who cares if you get caught?

Its been a few days man relax im saying that the girl is marriage material. Her personality traits and morals all indicate that she is a girl that you would marry as oppose to a one night stand. This is what i mean by marriage material.

The sex isn’t a big issue i can have sex with her 3-4 times a week or sex with other girls. I got a number of **** buddies going at any one time.

The issue is should i commit because i found and amazing rare girl?

Or

Should i continue being the guy who just has fun with girls.

Both have their benefits and disadvantages. In the long run in terms of happiness my current gf would be the ideal choice. As for right now I don’t feel happy being in an exclusive relationship.

My main fear is getting rid of her and regretting it when im 26 because I cant find another girl as awesome as her to settle down with. Im more live for the moment so im leaning towards breaking up with her and fu*king the other girl.

What I need is advice from somebody who has had a little more life experience than me.

You are 19... Getting in a serious relationship NOW isn’t really ideal, so what i would suggest is NOT to cheat, but to break up with her, tell her that ur not ready for a relationship and now isnt an ideal time for u to get into a relationship... and then go and "play the field" and have your fun. When you are older and had enough of "playing the field", then you can settle down, KNOWING that a relationship is something you WANT.

EDIT: And for the record, I was thinking the EXACT same as you up untill about a month or 2 ago when I broke up with the girl that I thought I would spend the rest of my life with etc etc... I realised that she was young, I was young, and a relationship was NOT the right thing for NOW, and now I am SO happy that I made the choice to "play the fields" for a while longer as appose to being in a relationship when I am only 19 years old. But alas, each to his won, at the end of the day its YOUR life, so do what you WANT to do!

I'm sticking with what I originally said... but think about it this way... in a years time from now, do you want to be in a relationship still, or do you want to look back at the past year and have all kinds of memories with different chicks etc? This kinda stuff you will not be ABLE to do when U are older etc, NOW is the time, u can have a relationship even when u are 50 years old! But if a relationship is what’s going to make u happy,. then stick with it.... its about YOU and what will benefit YOU the most. for some here being in a relationship would be better than playing the fields, and for others they would prefer to play the fields for as long as they can... its about YOU as an individual, what do YOU want? What will make YOU happier?

What I would suggest you do is take some time out and just think about what YOU want, what would make YOU most satisfied with your life. Just one thing that I am REALLY against, and that thing is cheating, if you cheat, then imo u should get shot:trouble:

Yeh agreed its unfair on her. I thought about ti and i decided il break up with her you are right i want to look back on my life and know that i used the time that i had.

I think i have an odd view on cheating. People seem to view it as a trust issue. I think that's fundamentally flawed somewhat. My girlfriend has no reason to have to trust me not to cheat. It's not like i'm desiring thousands of women and have to tap my sense of honor not to act on it because i don't want other girls in the first place for me to even have to TRY to stop myself.

I really don't have much of a desire to touch or have sex with any girl other than my girlfriend (whoever that happens to be at the time). It's just a love thing where I know i'd prefer sex to be meaningful and my desire for random girls just is barely there.

I go out to bars with my gf and i might see her 10% of the night before we leave the place and i'll talk to lots of people (girls included) and i know she's talking to male friends or random people just because she's really sociable. None of the girls i talk to do i really desire. My plan and only want is to go home and have sex with the girl i came with and wake up with her in my arms. I don't care how hot or how much other random girls were into me all night.

am i just freakin weird?
