don't react! you lose if you let the amog get a rise out of you. if an amog, or anyone for that matter, puts you down, don't acknowledge him. simply look at him for a second or two w/ a sly grin, turn your back and start talking to someone else. you'll save face while the amog ends up looking stupid.

That's pretty good advice. Falling into the amog's frame is a big mistake.

If you're confident about your wits you could also turn the situation around on him so it blows up in his face...
Risky though, you never know who you have in front of you and 'know you enemie' is not exactly bad advice. You might end up verbally pwned!
But of course, what you suggest is also pretty much making it blow up in his face in a very simple and safe way... though sometimes it's just a little extra fun to really drive the hammer home ;-)

I'm 6'0" 245 lbs. I'm a Tongan, Tongans don't get disrespected all too much. lol. Fortunately, I don't get amogged... lol.
But I'm a gentle giant, mostly because I don't have to depend on verbal judo to gain ground. My knuckles somehow precede my offenses. Great info though... I'd be doing the same thing.

A guy comes up drunk, grabs her ass and starts talking to her. I just stare him down without saying a word and the guy's like "so sorry, man." Then he, without words asks to talk to her further... I signalled for him 'go for it and you'll see'... 20 seconds later she shot him down.
Then the bouncer shows up and starts hitting on this girl... She introduces and I let them talk, go talk to my buddies for a lil bit and go back to her... the girl ... moral of the story is she came home with me that night...
