Actually Style, the Master Jedi of all PUAs, basically runs a similar # close routine.

He uses a space pen too since A) it's a nice conversation piece and B) it writes anywhere.

What he does is takes a piece of paper, tears it in half, hands one piece to the girl, writes his # on it, and waits for her to write her # before giving it to her.

And always use a statement as well as BRIDGE the damn encounter. ALWAYS try and set up a next meet.

The PHONE IS NOT THE FU CKING GOAL. Meeting up with her next time is. The #-close is just a logistical thing.

When sarging her, always try and set up a meet in the future so that the # is a natural flow of the conversation.

i think JT47319 is on to something. say that you want to meet up at a given time. set up a date at that given moment. then get her number.

The # is immaterial, buddy. Ive gotten 40 #s in the last four months... EASILY. The trick is creating enough value so that she will effort seing you again. It doesnt matter how she trys to see you again - via #close, dateclose, talking about where you work and swinging by (if appropriate) - if you did youre job during the innitial approach the #close wont matter.

Personally... I either ask for the # (when I am playing shy) or I tell the girl we should exchange #s (while being bold). It makes a difference, but only in a very specific way, and will almost never "make or break" youre chances at seing her agin.

I like to keep the art of the pickup VERY simple so not to overthink this.....I follow the "Let it Be" philosophy: If she likes you she WILL offer out her phone #.....you can't trick girls into liking you with a fake persona. If you sarge a girl with a very ****y persona she is going to be expecting that same person when she goes out on a date. If you don't keep it up forever than you will get rejected without sex.....by staying with the style you're accustomed to using using (ex. intelligent/witty, tough, bold, smartass, coy) the whole process will be much easier. Why play persona games from the begining when you can cut past the BS....if she likes the approach you've adapted for yourself than she'll say yes and you'll perform good when it's time to date, if not than it wasn't meant to be..... there really are no legitimate techniques for this......Let it Be - Beatles
