How to Appear Interested Without Looking Desperate?

I'm a bit confuse a point between interested , uninterested and desperated.

How to approach girl I am interested in her by not looking desperated?

I dont want to look desperate and make her thinks I am interested but dont
want her think I am uninterested too.

Example - If I call girl once a day its make me look desperated? or 3 times per week its make me look uninterested?

The last is how many times you calls or texts girl with no respond before you give up?

overthinking, just go and ask her out, if she will good if not move along and ask another girl, you can ask her for it another time, if she still says no? then why bother?

This is an issue of going indirect vs direct...there was just a thread about this...If you go indirect she wont know for sure but your going to put in alot more work, they may avail nothing....if you go direct she will prob know BUT you will know if its whorth it or to move on... basicly not waste time...If you act calm cool confident and dont constantly validate her you wont look desperate stop over thinking and take action! good luck!

Overall, you want her to KNOW that you are interested when you first meet her or approach her. You can't really seem desperate when you first meet unless you do something crazy like ask her for her schedule right there, or ask her to marry you.

Later, when you aren't constantly contacting her - THAT is when you need to worry about not being desperate. Read through the bible or some threads for some ideas. Basically, you only want to contact her to ask her out for a date. Do 98% of your communication in person on dates.
