It's interesting when you are sitting in a sizable group of people with both alpha and beta males were everyone is talking. Nobody ever talks over the alpha males. When they speak everyone listens and focuses on what they are saying. It's almost like they are afraid to be seen not listening.
When beta males talk, even if they are making good points, people's eyes often wander, people are ready to talk over him before he has finished. Sometimes the beta can't even finish the sentence before people have lost their attention, someone has spoken over him and stole the spotlight or he just gets tuned out.
I try to analyze what it is about the beta vs alpha presentation that causes the different responses. I'm not entirely sure.
I'm willing to bet there's a strong correlation between how many sex partners you've had, and how many people listen to you when you are talking, and importantly, how long he holds the attention span of the people who are truly listening.
