My Fellow Brethren, I may be kicking myself to hard about this, but I just can't believe I did that. Just now coming from the bank I saw a woman and we smiled to eachother on and off. When I was about to say .. "goodbye see you later" she said .. " hold on don't go anywhere " .. after she was done taking care of the last customer, we talked for a moment. I knew I couldnt' just stay and chill for she had work to do. So out of nowhere I said .. " hey can I have your number and give you a call sometime " .. she shakes her head .. " NO ", immedietaly I'm thinking to myself .. " You dumb azz, can't believe you actually said can I have her number." But she said .. " you can have my e-mail " so I responded .. " close enough ". I just felt as if there was something better I could have done within those 5 minutes .. and this really be just nothing, I guess it's just my ego, not allowing to get rejected ... now that I'm typing this e-mail address is better than nothing .... right ?

LoL, Its all good man. you didnt do anything wrong really but who knows... Maybe she didnt want you calling her phone for some reason? (B/F?) but you got the email and you can use that to your advantage. Meaning you can write something Flirty and smooth without worrying about you "Saying something right" understand? Or write something at the end of the email like..." P.S. I thought you were really sexy at the bank" That will def get her thinking about you after the email, Trust me.

Couple of things.

1. "...give you a call sometime" is weak and vague. I prefer handing her a paper and pen and saying "Write your number down." while keeping good eye contact.

2. When she said "you can have my email" you missed an excellent chance to be challenging and bust on her. Replying "close enough" makes it sound like you are desperate and thankful that she bailed you out at the last second so you didn't have to run off with your tail between your legs.

I personally would have said something like "Ok, write your email down." The when she is almost done writing I would say "Go ahead and write down your phone number."

Well I e-mailed her yesterday saying Hello ..etc..etc..etc ... and she responds back saying that the reason why she didn't give the number was because she had a Fiance and was approaching her wedding date, not wanting to disrespect him. So of course I understood this 100%, one thing I don't do is break happy homes for the fear of Karma returning to me when or if my time comes for that.

None the less I tried something different yesterday .. I printed out one card with my name and number on it, no fancy designs or anything. I was talking to this female in the mall today, and I was digging her as well. So I just flat out pulled the card with name and number and told her to give me a call that I liked how I was vibing with her. She smiled something serious and she said " I sure Will ". My question to the brethren, Instead of asking her for her number .. could giving her a card with my name and number on it be accpetable, or basically should I just go for the regular .. " can I have your number " approach ... just comparing yesterday's approach to today's.
