When I say waste, I'm speaking on something that to you in the end was worthless, bad deals, women etc.

I will go first, I figure I have blown at least 5 to 6 grand easily. I'm also 27 years old

I have some shoes I payed 300 dollars for on ebay in my closet, and I hate them. I keep them to remind me how foolish I can become with my money, now I rock cheap shoes like vans

not a lot, maybe around half of what you mentioned OP, but it's still more than i would've liked to & more than i would like to think about.

i'd much rather think about how to make more money than to think of the little i've lost in comparison to that.

I think i have easily blown at least $20,000 when a bit younger but i am not that worried - it seemed like an okay thing to do at the time but maybe not that good now. I have no regrets.

Biggest Wastes of Money

Fast Food- When I was younger up through my late twenties I ate fast food several times a week. Probably blew several grand on something that is bad for you.

Wasted thousands repairing a car that wasn't worth it.

Taking women out on expensive dinner dates that went nowhere.

Clothes that dont fit or that dont work on me mostly, approximately 2000 euros in 28 years of life.

Excellent thread I think it goes to show that although blowing money wasnt such a good idea at the time it allows you to learn from future financial mistakes. Now just learn and improve on them. Heres mine:

Fast food - equates to my lazyness which can be solved by buying food and cooking in advance. Hell after looking at bank statements it ends up being $3,000 just from eating out.

Electronics - more so for the excitement. (Iphone, Flat Screens, Ps3's etc) problem is that id get so bored I would end up selling stuff off

Gas - driving friends around, making double sometimes triple trips etc
It doesnt hurt to say "NO"

9/10 making any kind of purchase comes down to wants vs needs

I "WANT" nice things but I "NEED the basics
