Try this one on for size.It may be tough but if you can do it every single day for two weeks straight, you'll be pretty happy with the results in the mirror (especially if you have low bodyfat) .Just as long as you do it religiously, i usually do it right when i wake up in the morning when i am on this program..works great!

try this for a week or so..you're young,it'll give you the results you like, which is Vanity muscles. In other words, you'll like what you see in the mirror. You have low bodyfat..even better. Some may dispute it's effectiveness but i doudt they have even tried such a workout,i have done and always do this exact one to whip myself into a ripped state real quick, though i add pull/chin ups.

Buy a deck of cards, lay out each book (cloves, hearts, diamonds etc.) in order from 10-2 add the cards,Aces,Kings,Jacks, queens starting after the card 6.Insert the jokers between books 1-2 and 3-4.Those special cards are worth 10 push ups,for advanced sets -do both numbers on the card,10/10,9/9 etc.
That's about 400 straight,800 double.Takes me about 40 minutes to complete the whole deck.

Lay the deck in front of you,get in the push up position, flip the card, says 10,do 10,then 9,then 8 and so forth.Continue til the entire deck is finished. You can do regular push ups, diamond, foot elevated.Rest only enough to regain strength, but instead of just sitting there,do crunches/leg lifts while resting, then continue. This is the same trick guys in prison use to get ripped when having to spend 24 hours in lock down, i had a friend that picked up this trick while being locked up and institutionalized for two years. He was ridiculisly shredded when he got out.I read Hershel Walker did something similar as well in his youth,up to his pro football days.

You can start with doing it every other day to everyday.
Just make sure to eat something really sweet afterwards to up your glycogen ,and hour or so later eat some easy digesting protein and you're set.
Just make sure to eat enough overall and you're good to go,your still young ,i would'nt go too overboard on bodybuilding just yet.

I've never done over 50 pushups at a time. I do em slow, and I vary the angles. The slower the better.

of course, the Army and Marines think otherwise.
Exactly, the slower you go the more tension is created and it becomes a muscle builder, the faster you go it turns into an endurance excersize. But then again, the faster i do them, the more of a pump i get.
I love push ups..it's the poor mans bench press! You can do em anywhere.
If i had no other ways of excersize (weights) push ups is definetly at the top of the list..until i learn how to do handstand push ups

50-80, 30 sec rest, and then another 50-80, until 600?

And 2 months ago you couldn't do 10?

FKK off idiot. If this is true, I will eat my hat.

lol is that so unbelievabl cmon all you guys benching 3times your body mass could easily do this . maybe weight lifting dosnt equate to endurance and stamina.
i cant afford gym membership so i do 50 push-ups rest for 30 or 40 secs and do another 50 or 80 . when i fell most powerfull i do a 100. but only once. i do this 4 times a week.
my skinny friend who just left the army just 5'7 and about 130 could do 70 easily. endurance is different from lifting a building im suprised you guys here cant do more than a hundred at a go, especially if you been lifting for years.and yes 2 months ago i couldnt do ten.

Deck of cards push ups prison style will get you ripped AND big  throw some sit ups in there and have the entire package...
the secret is to rep them out and work on feeling the movement/muscle,the over all goal is to finish the entire deck of cards without rest and remain a consistant speed/tension throughout the entire deck..

yes ill try it. maybe with a lil scoop of whey protein , every other day and i guess i wouldnt need a gym. except for squating. i dont think you can have good leggs muscles or a good firm ass without hitting the gyms. thats the only reason id register for a gym membership. by the way how did your friend get ripped without eating alotta protein cuss in prison they dont get fed that well. except you sneaking burgers in or something.

You must be one of the most gifted athletes of all time. Or you're just a shamless BSer.

It's not that doing 100 pushups is unbelievable. Nor even doing SETS of 100 pushups. It's that two months ago you say you couldn't even do ten, and now you're at a superior level.

Shyt man, with talent like that, give the weights ago, you'll be challenging for the Olympia in no time.

If you're already lean, you will show in about a week.Giving it that you do it EVERY MORNING then have a good high carb snack afterwards along with protein, just make sure it's in liquid form. You can make even faster gains if even if you only hit the gym once a week, say, for squats and leg curls,or deadlifts. It'll boost your overall gains. I am exceptionaly lean though,so that's why something like this works out soo well for me.I have no idea how it works because everything in the books says that it should'nt.Endless reps,no resistence, the same movement over and over day in day out,adaptation..but low and behold..it gets me friggin' ripped!! You don't even have to eat alot, just make sure you eat enough good food and you're set.

I believe that without alot of protein being taken in, the body becomes more efficiant in utilizing the protein you DO consume.Say you are only eating like 50-60 grams a day and your working out pretty good, well it'll use ALL of that protein. But say you take in 300 grams ,it'll use what it needs and just discard the rest. That's why it's not always how much protein you are taking in,but the overall calorie count that's important. That's my take on it.
