how many is too many?

last week i was with my gf, both of us were drunk. she tends to be very outspoken when she has had a few drinks.
since the very beginning i have never wanted to know how many people she was with before me - chris rock said it best - it dont matter what they tell you it will still be too much for you anyway.

the topic got brought up - i told her i didnt want to know - so she blurted it out anyway - and it was not a number i was happy with.

i mean some guys like to know - me i dont want to think about where she is been - just where she is now.

any numbers too high for you guys? a typical male answer i think would be as long as it wasnt more than you. but my gf has.

For me, it's all context.

Too many ONS (like more than 2-3) I don't like, and too many cheating ONS (like more than 0) I won't accept.

The older she is, the more b/fs she may have had. So the number isn't great, but it's not that big a deal.

If you're comfortable, give her age. It seems like you don't want to disclose the number.

Also, why would she (even drunk) do something that you respectfully requested she not do?

The number doesn't bother me. I had one friend who has been with over 100 like myself. As a man I only care about what we do together...only immature people care about others pasts.

Pretty much.

You can tell all you really need to know about a chick from what she does with YOU.

You can tell if she's too much of a slut. You can get an idea of her fidelity.

People can change. How many guys she has slept with really isn't an accurate indicator of her present state.

Her being experienced could be a good thing for you, if you can get over being bothered by the fact other guys have been there first. It's not really a big deal.

The only thing that knowing how many partners she's had is good for is determining likeliness of her having an STD.

terms like "too many" are crazily ambiguous and wont help your situation at all. This situation does not call for objetivity..you have to listen to how you feel.

Realize, if shes a good gf to you now, and you really like her, youre just gonna have to get over this issue.

Things I like to keep in mind:

-Its in the past. Shes with you now, get over yourself.

-You didnt even know this girl back when she was doing her deeds with other guys. You guys werent exlusive, its really none of your business what shes done in the past as long as it doesnt directly affect you.

-Look at the brighter side of the picture. More experience can lead to better sex and possibly a more fulfilling relationship. Think of all her past experiences as a culmination making her the great person she is today.

-Dont worry about it it's just sex.

-Realize the more you make this an issue, the jealousy brooding inside of you, the more of an azzhole youll look like in her eyes. You come across as weak and insecure and sooner than later, shell grow tired of your puzzy ass.

Listen man, the choice is yours. If you really know you wont be able to handle it, then by all means NEXT this girl for both of yours' sakes and take the time to improve your mindset. No one here can really tell you whats "the right number, or the wrong number"..this is somethin you ultimately have to do for yourself. But if this girl is great and you really like her, I would force myself to get over it keeping in mind the things I listed above.
