I'm not talking like being built like a bodybuilder, but after going to gym 4 days a week & having a good diet, when should I be noticing muscle gain?

Take a photo now. Take a photo in a months time.

Marvel at the fact that you thought you were making no progress cause you've been looking at yourself every single day, but in actual fact you look a load better.

I dont see results unless I'm cutting. I'm too busy being narcissistic during the day to notice muscle gain these days.

You'll have noticible changes in your body in 6 weeks if done properly. And reduce your workouts to 3 days a week instead of 4. Recovery time is everything when it comes to building muscle.

Yeah, I reckon a month if you are doing everything right.

But seeing the poundage on the bar go up is a good progress indicator when you first start WT.

If you're just starting you should notice definite gains in weight lifted. These are neurological gains. 6 Weeks sounds about right for mass gains.

Also you can get plenty of rest with a 4 or even 5 day workout if you split it right.

It takes time. You aren't going to have your dream body in a few weeks. Definitely take photos because you won't notice any difference because you see yourself every day.

I started seeing changes in about a month.... I noticed more strength obviously and got more defined. Like now I'm noticing more veins showing and losing some more fat.
