how long should call be with a girl.

hey. i just had a quick question. i was on a skype call with the girl i like before. I'm Pretty sure i am friends zoned with her. but anyway we set up the called and we talk from 12am till just now 3:30am. lol. but after while i didn't really have much to talk about. so i was wondering.

how long should a convo be roughly. with a girl. i know i am still learning what to do. but i know for sure 3 hours is too long.

i hope this doesn't sound as stupid as it dose.

Your goal is to call and set up a physical meet. Then do the talking in person. All that "hey, how was your week?" stuff gets old real fast. Besides, even The Most Interesting Man in the World doesn't have that many good stories to tell.

But tell the truth though you did enjoy that 3 hour convo a part of you was tired and wanted to stop and another part of you wanted to continue, lol. I know cos I've been there but from the things I've read on this site take the advices above. Well, if you really don't care about dating the girl then talk away but whatever happens always be the first to get off the phone. Even if she wants to let you go; find something to say to keep her on then be the one to let her go. Only one girl caught me on this, lol.
