for instance if i contact a HB to meet up this week and she says she's going abroad till sunday so we'll have to postpone it to the week after.

i understand if a HB has high IL she'll offer you a specific day well in advance..

i just text back 'ok'

now Sunday has passed, should i really wait till she contacts me about that meet up and if she doesn't when is the best time to do so..? thurs or fri?

Text her back something that she has to elaborate on like "how was your trip"?

Get a back-and-forth going. Then don't say anything for a day, call her up and ask her for a specific day. If she turns you down without a specific reschedule day, it's probably over.

I hate those semi-counteroffers. I treat them as no counteroffer. See what she does after some radio silence; the true divider of interest/non-interest.

agreed.

If the IL is truly there, they will be anxious to meet asap.
