me: "Fun stuff of course"
her: "I'm really upset right now. Me and my sis and my mom just got in a big fight"

I called... she didn't pick up. She said she was too upset to talk on the phone. I msg'd her online and she says:

her (10:03:46 PM): i'm not even kidding
me (10:04:04 PM): What's the argument about?
her (10:04:21 PM): my mom not letting me do ANYTHING
her (10:04:47 PM): today she wouldn't even let me drive to mcdonalds
her (10:05:02 PM): and i wanted to spend the night pver heathers .. but could i? NO
me (10:05:11 PM): did you get your grades up? why is she limiting you?
her (10:05:21 PM): i don't know
her (10:05:33 PM): because i'm a "failure at life
her (10:05:36 PM): '"
me (10:06:08 PM): she shouldn't say that to you... you need to explain to her how that makes you feel
me (10:06:42 PM): well report cards came.. did you do good?
her (10:10:53 PM): i didn't do that bad
her (10:11:02 PM): i don't even care about anything anymore
her (10:18:23 PM): what are you doing right now
me (10:18:54 PM): nothing too important.
her (10:19:24 PM): i wish you could come over
her (10:19:31 PM): would you be allowed do you think
me (10:19:56 PM): i'll ask.
her (10:22:07 PM): okay, thanks so much, it would mean alot to me
me (10:24:14 PM): She's said "i'm going to bed.. i'm not letting you out when i'm asleep"
me (10:24:33 PM): I tried begging and it just pissed her off.
her (10:24:35 PM): okay

I didn't know how to handle this situation... Should i have gone out of the way to see her?

strange.. my gf started crying on the phone tonight. I just said, "I don't understand why you are crying?"

She was afraid that i was going to break up with her because I told her that I didn't feel like doing anything with her tonight. I just wanted to relax at home and be lazy. She started to cry because she wouldn't get another chance to see me for a few days. oh well that is her problem i guess.
