I'm majoring in film production at a university that has primarily business, pre-med, and engineering majors, so most of the time when I tell people MY major they might say something like "oh thats interesting". But does anyone know how I can use this to pick up women?

I typically don't try to use my major to pickup girls, unless they're somehow related to her interests/major. The other week I was at a party and met this hot girl who is a material science engineer (I'm mechanical) we had a good convo about that and I got her number.
Normally though, I only tell her what it is if she asks. Most of the time the girl won't really care about the details. For me, when I mention it, it usually reaffirms that I'm damn smart. At that point she should already be realizing that due to the way I converse with her. Honestly, what hot girl is going to care that I'm taking a basic strength of materials class?
If the girl is a gold digger, I shamelessly use it to my advantage. I joke and tell her "Yeah I'm a ME so I can make a lot of money and buy shiny things for my wife." They usually get a good laugh out of that.

well, film is a good major. you can be all suave and cultured.
My major isnt so hot for the ladies (engineering, teh LAME!!!). And im pretty smart, and they're dumb, and i make them feel dumb, and they resent me for it. so, if you arent good at using it, dont bother. make it something they can find out later in the convo. Like a few days after meeting you, let it slip, but dont talk about it. add to the mystery.
