Okay, folks. I want to know what you do to blow off steam. When you're fed up with everything, what do you to to relieve the stress and tension? Be serious, but if you're going to be facetious, be creative about it.

Scream at the top of your lungs somewhere no one else will be bothered

Hit a punching bag

drink

smoke weed

take a 20 minute nap

play a game where can kill other people

LIft weights

I ride my bike. Hell I ride it when I'm in a great mood too... I guess anything to expel the negative energy would work.

Ask yourself "why am i stressed?" and try to come up with the answer. 95% of the time you will find a reason or two, but they don't seem like they are even worth being stressed over them. Once you realize that you are stressed for nothing (or not much at all), you will calm down and feel happy.

Another solution is to go to the gym, as someone else already said (he said lifting weights, which is the same)

Hit the ab work outs does it for me. Hit the punch dummy a few times. Ride the bushpig around town a bit.
Some times i'll play a video game or watch the news.

I don't get stressed out very often, but when I do I usually listen to some heavy metalesque music at full blast on headphones. I just listen to music loud enough that I can't hear myself think anymore, and I can't remember what I was stressed about anymore.

Yeah, I'd think that listening to the Floyd boys while pumping iron would be counter-productive. Except for maybe "One of These Days..."

The best things for me are working out and loud music (maybe rubbing one out isn't a bad idea LOL)

I have been so angry this week (the sadness turned to anger this week about the ex). I am pissed.

Had to have a few drinks. I have been working out too.

Good luck on that. I hope things are OK.

Oh, I find lifting weights while listening to loud music very therapeutic, also. Hell, it's even cathartic from time to time. Ha ha, but the gym I go to plays a lot of soulful and pop music over the PA, so that's not really good for lifting, at least for me. I haven't broken down to get myself an iPod yet, so that's the way it goes, I guess.

I started this thread mostly out of curiosity to see what this community does to unwind from stress, and to get an idea of their sense of humor (by gauging the not-so-serious responses here).
