Every time I try to make eggs they always come out poorly. I've gotten to the point where I don't even cook them and I just put a couple of raw eggs into a protein shake and have them that way.

Anybody have some tips on making tasty eggs?

I always thought eggs were the easiest thing to make. I'm not too picky about how they look/taste though...

I just put some EV olive oil or butter into a fry pan and pre-heat it on the stove. Then I chuck 6 eggs into the pan and cook till one side is browned, then flip(the tricky part, hehe) and brown the other side. Take it off and eat with tomato sauce or plain or whatever.

Not too tricky, gets the job done.

I don't eat eggs very often, but when I do I make them like this: (try not to throw up, they actually come out really good)!

I break two eggs in a bowl and scramble. I add two teaspoons of water, (or you can add milk, if you'd like), one teaspoon butter or margarine (optional) and MICROWAVE for about two minutes. Remove, scramble some more, and nuke again for about another minute.

Depending on how long you microwave them, they will come out soft-medium-or hard scrambled. Reduces the amount of butter and completely eliminates oils in their preparation.

I hope you try it!

P.S. To add veggies to them, I prepare the veggies separately, chopped and placed in a bowl with a teaspoon of butter and nuke for about 2 1/2 minutes. Spoon out and add to eggs (as prepared above, before microwaving) and a little shredded cheese, to help them hold together.

I really only eat them scrambled and omelet style. Usually when I scramble them they come out rubbery and just don't taste good. I've even started adding cheese to help but it just doesn't help.

 at cooking eggs in a microwave

Maybe you need to try buying a different egg brand Maxtro.

I typically buy Spartan brand eggs and like you I prefer my eggs scrambled.

Never had them turn out rubbery though lmfao.

Anyway I don't know if this will help at all but the way I make my scrambled eggs is I pour about an inch and a half's worth of 1/2 percent milk in a bowl, then I add some salt and pepper then I put two or three eggs in with that and mix it around thoroughly with a fork and then dump the goo in a small egg sized frying pan with the setting on high.

I used to cook them that way and simply constantly turn the eggs and chop them up slightly until everything became solid and non watery and then put them on my plate but now once the heat is up fully and they are cooking I turn things down to number 7 on my stove as that way I don't have to turn them so much or have as much of a burning risk.

I add a slight bit of salt after they are done as well since if I don't the salt taste tends to bake out.

Fry some garlic in oil in the pan just before you add the eggs. Peppers and mushrooms are good, too. Try adding feta cheese for flavor.

i always scramble my eggs with a tsp of heavy cream (or milk) per egg, beat gently in. don't add salt til they're almost fully cooked. try not to over-handle them, including the initial beating. use a whisk to beat if you have one, but go easy with it.

for the creamiest scrambled eggs ever, use Alton Brown's method, basically a ghetto version of the double boiler: all metal bowl resting on a 2-3 qt. pot of boiling water, cook the eggs in the metal bowl.

BUT i'm lazy & impatient so i usually just drop a tablespoon of unsalted butter (less sticking) in a non-stick pan (or cast iron skillet, it'll just stick more) and crank it to high. when the butter melts, i turn it way down, pour in the egg/cream mixture, turn it back up to medium and wait til curds start forming to actually do the scrambling. pull 'em off the heat a few moments before they're fully cooked.

fresher eggs will give better results. if you have eggs from over 2 weeks ago, and especially over a month, hard-cook them.

Try making scrambled eggs in a preheated pan with EV olive oil.

Add salt, pepper, and tabasco sauce while mixing the eggs. The tabasco sauce adds a nice flavour. Also, buy good eggs, free range if you can find them. Makes the world of difference. I try to buy my eggs at trader joe's.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

This is what i do..

step 1: add cold water.
step 2: add egg (with shell)
step 3: boil water + egg
step 4: set a timer to 10 minutes when water is boiling.
step 5: take egg out and eat after timer beeps.

Wolahh! - you got yourself a hardboiled egg. no oil, no mess, just easy cleaning.

p.s. set the timer to like 6 minutes if you prefer the yolk to be still runny..

Why do people add water and milk? Sounds unnecessary. Just scamble them up and throw in some cheese and HOT SAUCE!
