How do you get RID of a girl crushing on you!?

So basically there's this girl who's got a crush on me...she's always calling me and she always wants to hang out and talk to me. The problem is, she's a pretty good friend of mine. So I guess what I'm asking is, is there a surefire way that I can get her to stop crushing on me and just going back to friends? I can't seem to think of anything but a confrontation, but she's kind of a cry baby and I want to avoid that.

Just tell her whats up, if you really like her as a friend that would work best, IMO. If you try to do some like DLV stuff to her that might make her not want to be friends with you.

funny thing is... things work out opposite from what you want it to.

when you like a girl... you try hard to get her... you push causing her to freak out and pull away... which in return causes you to try even harder.

when a girl likes you, she tries hard to get you... shes pushes causing you to freak out and pull away... only for her to increase her interest in you.

you can do one of two things...

do the un-"DJ" thing and tell her you love her and gushy **** like that... freak her out and force her to give you the "well... actually, let's just be friends" line
-or-
tell her upfront that YOU want to be just friends.

i see that either way... a friendship can STILL be messed up if two people don't go into a sexual, or exclusive relationship... due to the one person being bitter about being told "let's just be friends."
