Serious question.

Like ok hooking up with them is one thing.

But i dont think i could ever wife up a single mother. I mean shes had some other dudes kid!

I dont even care about all the red flags etc just the very fact that shes got some bastard in tow is an instant DQ. Its not like there arent enough women out there who dont have some other dudes sprog.

The Brady Bunch came out in 1969. Since then the idea of raising another person's children hasn't been taboo.

That said, single mom's are very rarely capable of truly loving another man. They will tend to use you as a tool. They will tax the welfare system to the max, give back extremely little, and raise terrible children, all because they couldn't keep dad happy. Given that raising a child costs $750,000 or so, you're arguably better of paying a hooker $25,000 a year for 30 years than marrying a single mom. You can swap out the hooker if their looks or attitudes fade like mom's did.

1. Desperation
2. Lack of options
3. Captain save a ho mentality
4. Social conditioning (The sense of smug self importance of being deludedly a "good man")
5. Thinking they are an easy/good lay but then getting trapped in their compliance snares
6. Stupidity

So? Is this an ego thing? Who cares whose kid it is? The kid's there now. If you don't like kids, that's fine, but mature men shouldn't care about things like this.

This is the problem. It's basically an obligated orbiter for life, and this is why it's a DQ. **** that ****.

Weak minded betas.

Remember that most men believe commitment to a woman is the be all end all of human existence. I say commitment TO a woman because no women EVER commits to a man. Women commit only to their priorities and best interests at the time. Nothing more. Only men are dumb enough to seek security in something as unreliable and inconsistent as the human female.

You know a man is a complete loser when the highest goal he can come up with in life is "keep a woman".

any man entering any LTR is likely to not be red pilled so it makes sense that they'd enter a bad deal and get fvcked by it.

i'd date a single mother who was hot though

What options does a guy in his late 40's have who doesn't want more kids. Most eligible single women in their mid to late 30's have kids.

Yeah if you find a 30 something with no kid's it's likely she'll want children. So you have that to deal with.

I don't see a problem with having a LTR and having separate residences if she's a nice lady, keeps herself well and has her priorities straight. Marriage could be a possibility if the kids are in the last years of high school and/or out the house.

You sound offended, ironically in a post talking about your ego. Check yourself, bruh.

If you can't get your head on straight with yourself, women are going to eat you alive.

I've dated a single mother and even though I'm def considered beta, I still had reservations about the kid. I think no options and having a very attractive girl be so into you is what does it for most, to the point you overlook the kid in a way.

I'll never get into another one with a single mother that's for sure. I was hooking up with one but she had two kids, sex was great but I had to next.

Single mothers are damaged goods. Sad to say but unless the dad died suddenly, they are lowest on smv scale and usually attract needy betas

It's funny how guys that don't date single mothers are seen as weak or incapable by the general public

I can tell you... with 3 different women, when they found out I had kids, the connection fizzled out...

Such a double standard

I think a lot has to do with location as well, around me probably atleast 93% of females over 18 in a 100 mile radius have kids, the ones that don't are extremely self centered, gay, or there's a damn good reason they don't. The female market is absolute trash and is only getting worse.may sound bitter but it's just being honest.

Right behind you
The having kids thing is basically like adopting kids. Adopting kids makes you seem like a saint. But marrying a single mom and taking in her kids is seen as pathetic. I'm sure there are differences between the two but I don't care enough right now to think about them.

I have dated single moms before, (three times,) never again. Each time it turned out they were interested in my wallet, not me. Just because the father of their child is a dead-beat that won't support the child does not make me a proxy bank account if in a relationship with the mother.

I would like to add though, if the woman is divorced or widowed, I would probably consider dating her. However, if she is one of those irresponsible females who have children just because they didn't use birth control or require their partner to use BC either, no I wouldn't.

Really? I have never run into this generalization. I did, however, run into an attitude from a woman with four kids, each fathered by a different sire, who said that I was "selfish" because I wouldn't date her and help her raise her "babies", as she put it. I told her I wasn't acting selfishly, I just wasn't stupid.

The older you get the more you come across single mothers. They all seem to have the exact same characteristics. The most common are entitlement and a very structured schedule. There usually is a jealous abusive ex baby daddy in the picture which confuses them even more. There are also usually some kind of cluster b personality disorer present. It's really hard not to feel like a chump or sucker when you try to think about a future with these women, and raising and supporting their child/children.

I've been down this particular rabbithole a couple of times and surprise surprise there's no rabbit. Basically it was when I was in my forties and the attraction was that I was getting a bit old to start a family from scratch. The two ladies concerned were highly attractive and generally good women.. They both had young son's and the ex was overseas. So I saw family life as a real possibility. But the woman never bonded properly with me it was always them and the kid as a unit. So yeah even with the most favorable set up I couldn't make it work
