How dangerous is it to receive unprotected oral?

Hey guys,

Just looking for a few insights here since I can't get a resounding yes/no on Google.

Basically, I had never gotten past second base in my life until last December, when I was fooling around with a girl that went down on me for a couple seconds.

Now, I didn't realize until recently that apparently there are chances of catching something from this? I remember her saying one time about how she always insists her lover use protection in normal sex because she wants to be safe, and that she gets tested at least once a year and always comes out clean.

Do you think there's any need for me to get checked out? I feel 100% healthy and totally fine; no symptoms or signs of anything wrong anywhere on me.

I just am kinda bummed because I took some solace in the fact that yes, I was a virgin, but it was nice never having to get tested because I knew I was 100% clean. Now I'm pretty sure that's still the case, but just wanted to get a second opinion or two if that's okay.

Hypothetically you could get chlamydia or herpes from receiving oral.

But you're talking about a one-time encounter that lasted a few seconds....I'm not a doctor, but you don't seem like a high-risk factor.

Yup, and I figured after 4 months I would have had a symptom by now...plus she's really a good girl and I feel like she would definitely have told me if she'd found out something and wanted me to get checked.

lol ,its kinda funny , the people that should worry about getting tested , never do , yet the people that prolly never should have to worry about it , girls ive been with always asked me if i had anything , so i took that as a sign that they were clean enough to not get anything else , plus if her mouth is going to my best man , ill have kissed her first .

im sure you will be worried the first time you nut in a girls mouth , you kinda feel werid down there for a day or two depending how long th girl is down there , if i were you i would just take caution , but nothing overkill

id class this is kinda overkill , the mere fact that she told you shes been tested should put u at ease
