Hot Employee at a Taekwondo Studio

Just today I was walking around town and happened to walk into a Taekwondo studio kinda curious about the prices for lessons.

The chick in the studio (who looked to be about an 8 or even 9)approached me and asked me when I was looking at the Taekwondo poster on the wall and asked if I was interested in taking lessons. Anyways, we talked about 3-5 minutes. I took half a step back and she moved in even closer to me... Almost too close.

Anyways, when we talked we made eye contact almost the whole time. She touched my arm several time when she talked to me. I'm almost 100% sure she was interested in me! I'm pretty good looking and she was pretty hot! But I felt so dumb that all I got from her was the phone number to the studio!

This chick was maybe 18-21 years old. I'm 16 (But I look much older)! What would you have done if you were in my position!? I felt like there was something more I could have done!

Any advice on what to do if this ever happens again? I'm still learning the whole DJ thing and I need a LOT of coaching!

Bro, you gave a TON of excellent advice. You are totally right man! She was doing all the moves that I should have been doing!

Now that I play the whole scene in my head again, I could've asked her for her cell number and make an excuse like (you can help explain the whole Taekwondo deal to me sometime).

Basically all I did after she took a step closer was make eye contact with her the whole time basically and smile. I should have done the things you said!

Maybe I should sign up for lessons so I get a chance to meet her again.

After moving out of California it's been a while since I've seen a hot chick like this (especially here in freakin Asia).

How about an alternative explanation?

You went into a Taekwondo studio. You gave signs of interest in Taekwondo (staring at a martial arts poster). She's trying to SELL you Taekwondo lessons, not pick you up.

Beware of signs of interest from waitresses, dental hygenists, and salesladies. It's their JOB to make people comfortable by showing attentiveness, be solicitous, ask about you, etc. They are not IOI's, they are precursors to sales or comforting you in an awkward or potentially uncomfortable situation (the hygenist).

Think about it. You went in there, which indicated to her that you were a possible "sale." She went for it, like a saleswoman, and of course you were receptive. You guessed she was 5 years older than you, and 16 year old guys usually LOOK like 16 year old guys (don't kid yourself about looking older). In other words, not usually considered by 21 year old women.

It's nice to be optimistic about your attractiveness to women, but always consider the context. You look very much like a potential sales prospect to her. If the place you met her was a bar or dance club, then yeah, it's more likely to be IOI's you're seeing.

But my money's on her seeing you as a customer, not a date.

Call me a cynic but i think the girl was just being flirty in attempt to sell the product (Taekwondo lessons).
