I've been lurking the forums awhile but am a new poster. Labor day night or Tuesday morning around 4am someone threw a block through my back patio sliding door window. completely shattered the glass, glass EVERYWHERE, block kept going and smashed my stove. I wasn't there but my brother was. He ran and grabbed my gun and saw a shadow on the blinds and fired twice. he said gunshots were so loud. I put self defense rounds in my gun :). He heard running and someone jump the chainlink fence.

Neighbors tell me it's likely some guy who has broke in houses in the area and served time and got released recently. Today I saw some guy fitting the description peering up my driveway then peeking over the fence at my new patio door from the empty house next door that is for sale. I found out that one who probably did it lives RIGHT behind me. Fug.

I don't know what going to happen. Come home to my house cleared out and my gun too. Sleep with one eye open. Have to shoot someone in a home invasion in the middle of the night or maybe get shot myself. The neighborhood wasn't bad but has been going downhill the past few years. Got rentals and certain people living in them some times several adults to one house. Damm anyone experience something like this?

That would be the best option. Finances won't allow it. I would have to pay twice as much for the same house since Im getting an insiders deal here. I guess every problem is really a money problem.

I cant believe the dirtball is still casing my house after being shot at. It was so loud a neighbor way down the street was awoken and heard it. Maybe he was just being nosy and checking out my nice new patio door haha. The guy is staying RIGHT behind my house fugg.

Several years ago, I was in a situation similar to yours. Fortunately, I live in a state that allows concealed carry. If your state allows it I would suggest it wholeheartedly.

Besides that, this is what I did:

and click here.

Both cheap ways to protect your home. All the best, bud.

those two ideas are good

Don't know why people think a gun is going to stop someone during a home invasion. If they want your stuff bad enough they will get it. And it will be at a time they will catch you slipping.

You have to treat them like animals. I use to work at a store that got robbed every year.

The only thing that stopped them was lights and sounds. By the time you get to your gun they are gone so don't waste your time.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

As far as your personal safety goes, don't worry about it. You need to install security cameras and some motion activated lights. Get some full HD IP cameras. To do it all cheaply use china, aliexpress.com. You can also get a dog, plus perhaps a home alarm system. No need to move man. Stay your ground. Don't fear anyone, don't trust anyone, don't rely on anyone.

Good advice. Do not be bullied. Don't be stupid, but do not be bullied.

You have to understand mentality of a fief. He does it to stay alive, it is his job. You have a right to get from him what he stole and get some compensation, but that's it. Don't go to police. Don't hold agression against him, he is just like you, only does bad sh1t. Find him, demand compensation. Keep your enemies close, befriend them.

you can almost certainly concealed carry in your home, probably even in your yard, with no permit at all. it's YOUR property and you have every right to defend yourself while you are there. Dont risk being caught without your gun, or having it stolen or misused, by leaving it lay someplace As you sleep, put it under your mattress, by your head. When you shower, put it under your folded towel. I have done this sort of thing for decades, it's no strain at all.

Home invasion is not the same thing as burglary. Burglary is just theft while you are not home. Home invaders are often crazed, drunk, desperate people (ie, escaped prisoners, fugitives or someone with a personal erection for you. Theft is not normally their motivation and they are VERY dangerous. They often have friends with them, too.

After reading your post again, I have some different insights, but I stand by carrying concealed if you have the option (not necessarily for home invasions, more because you live in an area where home invasions happen).

Most home invasions happen in the day time. From my experience, most crooks scope out your house for a while to find out when you're not there. Once they determine when you're not around (which is usually during the day when you're at work) they make their move.

It's a good thing your brother had a gun around...most criminals that have the balls to break in at night are ruthless: they're either on drugs, or just crazy enough to not care about the consequences. Either way, it's handy to have a gun around. A lot of times you wouldn't even need to shoot - the sound of the pump shotty getting ****ed will send them running. Unless they're on drugs, in which case you do what you have to.

For your peace of mind, buy what I told you to: a motion sensored light, and more importantly, a noise alarm, just so that you'll know if someone breaks in while you're sleeping.
