how would that work? and also, what is the need of a wingman anyway?

It all depends on the company you keep, if you do not trust your friends to do their job as the secondary guy when necessary then i suggest that you do not focus on large groups of girls or even a set of two. In a large group the wingman will effectively provide secondary entertainment to the girls who you are not interested in and will at the same time raise your social proof by speaking good things about you through stories and such. In the two girl situation it is best to have a wingman so you can easily isolate one of the girls whilest your friend takes the other. No girl will allow you to take her friend away from her while she sits alone.

Its based on personal preference, because i have had a wingman come in quite handy at times, though a few times it really didn't help out. But if he does everything correctly then it can never be a negative asset.

tekniq is pretty on the dot

they make you sound good in front of your target, and if you are in a set they can distract people who aren't your target so you can focus on ... surprisingly your target.
