It may be worth while to think about this idea. If we made another forum strictly for needing help, like a need help forum for those who are looking for an answer and who just havent found it yet...maybe someone can help. etc etc.
If we can seperate the: How do I do this???'s and the HELP MEEEE's from the maybe you guys have a better way of doing this. Any suggestions??....or anything you actually have done (field tested yourself)that can be critiqued, into seperate forums.
Now I dunno how this sounds but..if you did this, I think you wouldnt even need a HS forum anymore cuz pretty much anything you do on a standpoint of a HS student,like myself,would be pretty much the same as an adult. Even adult males can act like a HS guy when they need help with chicks.
That was probably the big reason why there was a split in the first place. The loads of I need help spilling on the main discussion. We seperated the young and old people thinking it would solve everything and it only spreaded to both forums when newer guys kept poppin like daisys.
So it leaves directions in which you can take towards maintaining the Don Juan Discussion:
1) You can use my idea: Get rid of the HS forum and make it into The Need Help Forum. You save space by doing that instead of keeping the HS forum into something that would become of not much relivance around. You get your moderators to seperate all the posts into what I talked about earlier, transferring all the "HELP!!" data into the former HS forum. Its more organized..and it will probably keep people more interested in your site.
2) You can do the above, keep the HS forum and make the Need Help forum: More space will be taken up, and I just dont see much point into keeping guys seperated when they can actually learn from each others experiences...as well as give out useful advice. Unless, you know, the older guys here talk about marriage all the time. That would be a bunch of BS.
3) You dont use my idea: Im sorry...but why wouldnt you wanna give this a shot Allen? Unless you think it cant be maintained cuz there would not be enough moderators, but then again you could always make more.
Your site is growing by the bunches. I barely see anymore people I would recognize a year ago when I first came here...as an afc. I know it's been discussed way before I ever joined that it was slowly going downhill concerning peoples interest...well this may be your answer to maintaining my interest for this site as well as the interest of all the older guys who may have came here 24/7 to learn how to improve their dating, cuz we thought this site rocked...and hell. It may be such a simple concept...but even a small change like this can make a big impacting impression in the future. -MOA
