As in general, I found that helping out AFCs is not a good idea. Especially to those that not seeking help but clearly are lost.

Last week I introduced one to SS (not sosuave.net). His reaction was to get defensive and he even called me a "git". Not that I know what that is or care.

As I think about it, back when my head was too far up my a55, in my AFC days, I'd react that way too, since I'd want to get approval, and the dude helping me basically says you're no good.

Anyway to approach those fvcks? I know no good did goes unpunished, but perhaps there is a way to make them think.

even if you show the the site, they have to really want change before than can become a DJ. Knowledge alone isn't the answer. I'm not sure there is any real solution.

Even the vast majority of the people who come here seeking help really just want some sort of nice hand holding and let's all sing by the campfire sort of affirmation.

They often reject the answer they ask for. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink as they say. Or "build a man a fire and he's warm all night, but set him on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life".

You cannot teach those unwilling to be taught.

Unplugging chumps from the Matrix is dirty work. Never expect even the garden variety AFC to embrace a challenge to an ego-investment he's made over the course of the better part of his life. With the exception of a precious few, every AFC I've counseled has spit back in my face when I initially tried to unplug him - even the ones who now see me as a mentor or a father-figure. I'm used to it now, but beware the guy who's very personality and self-affirmation depends on his being an AFC. These are the guys who's world will implode by suggesting they be in any way self-analyzing or self-critical in regards to their AFCness. Some souls are better left plugged in.

best way to approach them about it?

when you see them ****ing up REAL bad... talk to them about it and show/tell them what they should have done... give them logical reasons why its better.

i've helped a few of my friends get girls... they all love the knowledge, but some agree but make up stupid reasons why they are "unique" and MUST treat the girl like a goddess... but they fail... and still don't listen to me, but still say my knowledge is good.

however, even if they don't take ALL of my advice, they still come to me for advice.

just show them... and talk to them about what you do and how you get girls and why you succeed. give them a few tips... start small... after a while if you want, give them this website.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

i've only ever reached guys (and been reached myself, incidentally) at rock bottom, and sometimes not even then.

"You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it."

I'd rather watch their AFC silliness and laugh. And then when they come crying about their girl problems I laugh more.

I've tried it before. Mostly if I tried to introduce them to sosuave they'd laugh at me, calling me a loser or whatever...then continue to,not get girls. But if I talked about the philosophies, tips, ideas, etc later on (not explaining where I got it from), they'd be like "Yeah! Yeah! Thats true! Dude who taught you that?!" Idiots. Its like, even if they wish they could get some help, they refuse to accept the idea of getting it online, cause thats just..."nerdy".

This may shock people but being an AFC isn't that bad. In middle school, me and my close friends were all AFC's. We would play sports, play the latest anime cards, play with the ps2 or gamecube, play warcraft, help each other with hw, tests, math, taking trips to amusement parks, etc. We rarely spoke to girls, not did it mattered to us.

We didn't even worry about any of this BS girl problems. It simply didn't matter.

When we went to highschool, they all went to the same highschool as each other, except me. So now after being exposed to this site, i realized how different i am from them but that doesn't change what we do together. They are pretty much the same, and i guess i "adapt" towards the situation. It's how we enjoy life.
