i guess the tides have turned because although im in good shape, i want to gain some more muscles and i do not know much about that.

well my question is how do you increase the size of your muscles on your chest, i do press ups well just started doing them regularly i do 40 every other day, should i split this up in to doing less over a few reps like 30 press ups 2 or 3 times

and more importantly are press ups good at devloping your chest muscles or do i need to do weights. I only have 5kg dumbells, i cant really get to a gym so easily but if i need to do weights i will buy a proper set, of like 40kg or what ever, but if i just do press ups will this do the trick.

hey check,

well press ups are good, but if you do to many your muscle will get to used to it and they wont build, plus they tend to work more of your tricep...

if you buy your own multy gym or just go to a reall one, then you should work your chest only once or twice a week,

bench press, start of by doing 2,3 sets of say 10 12, and the the weight should be just on your strength boundry..

butterflys, lie back on a bench with a dumbell in each hand streched out, and raise them up above your chest at arms length

now, let me say body building an stuff is a lond proccess, dont give up when you see no results strait away, it takes time and effort and you must stick to it..

ask a member of some gym, ya know, make a convo an ask
you can meet loads of friends at a gym so you shoul really go to a reall one

40kg dumbells? you won't be able to lift them straight away. You have to build it up, small first, then increase the weight as you get used to it. There's no over-night solution.

Edit: join a gym.
