Help me with Age of Consent Law

Im 20 years old.

In my state the age of consent law is 16 (MN).

I met a girl who is 17. Does this mean its legal for us to ****? Someone help me out, i dont wanna get banged by bubba in the jail for some bogus statutory rape charges.

Oh yeah did i mention her dad is ranked right under the police chief?

Daddy might not be able to get you on statutory rape...but you can bet your butt he'll find something else to get you on if he doesn't like the idea of a 20 year old trying to get in his little girl's pants.

This is not legal advice, but you are ok on the statutory rape. However, as Wyldfire said, pissing off a cop is a bad idea. You can be arrested and held for up to three days without even being officially charged with anything.

i dont think that will be a problem. im an upstanding young gentleman (not your typical college douchebag) plus i called her house and her mom answered the phone and she sounded nice so who knows.

If you show your "upstanding" personality to the parents and make buddies with them. You're fine. I usually bond with every girls parents if I can. They might even help you with her. The moms tend to.
