hey im trying to cut up and ive read some good things about HIIT. now since its hard to know wether your in the targeted range for your heart rate, im thinking of getting a heart rate monitor. ive noticed theyre a bit pricey but im afraid that if i get the most inexpensive one it wont work wello.

so if anyone here owns a heart rate monitor id like to know what kind it is and if it works well. thanks.

I prefer the ol' fashion way... two fingers on the side of your neck (carotid pulse) and count for six seconds... multiply by 10 and you got it!

(Personally I have better things to spend money on...)

POLAR is widely known for their monitors but Timex actually has a couple of models too. They're less expensive than Polars but Polar is known for their accuracy.

I prefer the stationary bike so I'm sitting still... :)

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.
