I have been working with a HB9 on a project for work however she works for a different organisation. Have had about 4 meetings with her this month and after the 3rd meeting she left a voicemail on my work phone giving me her private mobile number and said "you can call me during and outside of working hours". In the last two meetings we spoke one on one for around 20 minutes alone and I feel like she's always looking to see where I am and if speaking to other project workers, she doesn't look interested.

I have made our conversations go away from work-related topics and whenever we're talking she's got her eyes glued on me and I remember last time her eyes were going crazy I think it's called the horizontal glare or something? I got her laughing a bunch of times and now I'm thinking, whether to just leave it because it is related to work and doubting myself thinking she's being friendly/networking or whatever.

Would love to hear what you guys have to say about this situation... If I do go for it, how? I am assuming that I'll be working with her in some capacity over quite a lengthy period on and off so waiting until this project is over isn't really an option.

If I were you, I would display Alpha traits - and you must play this discreetly as she IS A CO-WORKER.

That's the thing - there are a couple of quite feminist upper management managers and I care more about my work then getting this chick in bed but at the same time, I want to enjoy these opportunities when they arise.

Please don't get stuck on me 9ing her - it's only an online tool to let you all know that she's sexy, it'd be like when a girl walks by and I say to my mate she's hot as fcuk. I am not being oneitis as well...

I am a 'man' in the work place anyway and in the meetings we've been at she's seen how firm and confident I am so that's alpha traits that she might be getting off on. I'll let you know what's up she gets it up.

There are potential problems dating people you work with. If you date her and things don't work out, someone's feelings get hurt.....it could be awkward.Having said that, I don't know why this is so hard for you. IF you decide to take the chance, it is simple. ASK HER OUT FOR SUPPER. She will either say yes or no. If she says no, you carry on. For example, she might say "I don't date people I work with, but I appreciate you asking" You simply shrug, smile, and say " I completely understand" and then carry on. No harm, no foul. or if she says "Sorry, I have a BF" you say the same thing. WORD FOR WORD. She says " I am busy this week" you say "No problem, another time perhaps" and smile, and walk away.

I would simply wait until you are alone sometime, and say "We should go out for supper and a drink this week"

I dated two girls I worked with last year - one turned out to be a psychotic lost case and the other moved overseas after she svcked me dry, first one by the way I had fired haha. So yeah, that's why I am hesitant because I know the risks associated.

Its easy to over-think these things because its work related. But realize that attraction as we all know isn't a choice.

It sounds like she is interested and comfortable with you, so instead of analyzing the horizontal glare and all the jazz, take action and you will have your answer.

If you aren't touching her, even subtly as of yet, start doing it. And when the rapport/conversation is at its high point, tell her you two should go grab a drink after work and see what she says.

It sounds like you do well within your company and your outgoing, and she is attracted to that.
