So I was just doing my workout in my basement, as and per my custom, I had the TV on. Flipping channels, I came upon a Spanish television soap opera, one of those "telenovelas". I like them because the women usually are hot looking. And, today, I'm thinking, hey, even the older women look hot. High cheekbones, big eyes, soft skin, full lips, nice hair, nice bodies... and I thought to myself, heck, do I have to move to Venezuela to find these women? Though I'm sure they don't all look like that.

But in then thinking about it, something dawned on me. I can't recall seeing any posts by any guys from South America here. There are guys from all over North America, England, Romania, even Australia. But where are the guys from Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela? Is it because those men are all mostly alpha? Or can it be that not one knows English sufficiently enough to post? That can't be! Or am I just missing their posts?

Now, I know that latinas generally treat their men better, so it that women are overall such a better breed there that there's no need to exchange thoughts on a forum like this?

Dude, I'm not a big poster, but I've mentioned on several occasions that I'm from Nicaragua... technically, that's North America to you gringos, but we still speak Spanish down there.

And no, you don't have to move down there to find those hotties... I live in Houston, for instance, and first thing I did when I moved here was look for my Latin American brethren and the chicks are as hot as the telenovelas chicks.

Oh, and a quick addtion to the above two paragraphs. Apparently having an accenct among American chicks works in this town. Since JAN 2007 that I moved here, I've farked 28 chicks so far. Say what you will about that number, but for me it's a big improvement!

Its because the women are normal in South America. To be honest I think that people overall are just happier in South America, even though most have very little.

Peruvian guy I work with says he cannot believe how unhappy people are in the USA and Aus. After 5 years in the US, 2 years in Aus, he is packing for Lima. Said he would rather be a pauper in heaven then a king in hell

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I have been to South America. Brazil for work, Colombia to visit a GF's family on a few occasions, Argentina on holiday.

My experiences have been good. Brazilain women are a gift from God. Colombian women are God. Argentinians wish they were still in Europe and are snotty. Generalisations of course, but I challenge anyone who has been to either Brazil or Colombia to state differently.

Feminine, friendly, joyful, passionate and absolute lunatics in the sack. What more could a man want?

I think happiness plays a small part in this, but the frame that is set by our macho male counterparts to the south is IMO the main reason there is not a need for sosuave down there. It's basically a role reversal from what takes place in the US. All men think they are 'God's gift to women' and act accordingly. If he strays, it's her fault. If he smacks her around a little, he was just mad. He still loves her. But the men act like men, and not AFC little boys walking on eggshells afraid to upset their women.

Cool hearing from a Nica on the forum, as there are relatively few of you here in the US. Seems easier just to hop over to Costa Rica, as there is a ton of Nica's over there. Nice girls, spent a year romancing many of them near San Jose in my younger years. Kind of quick to jump in bed, but I guess that's just the culture. If they don't sleep with me, some other girl will. I'm the prize, right? That's DJ101. And unlike here, it's socially acceptable down there.

I agree with what trv26 said about not everyone being a leader in a group... it's all relative. However, I do think that when it's an ethnically-diverse groups, certain backgrounds have advantages over others.

I'm specifically referring to Latins among Americans because that's what I'm more familiar with, not because I want to rag on Americans. And I'm not talking about the illegal immigrant that does your lawn, either. I'm talking about university graduates and other equally successful people.

For instance, a lot of us Latin Americans started drinking way before our American peers... it's not unusual to hear that a Latin American started drinking at age 14 or 16, whereas a lot of American kids started drinking at 18 or later... Sometimes because of the simple reason that laws are not enforced so strictly in Latin America... So ceteris paribus (haha, did I just write that?), in a group of 20 yr olds, I think the Americans will start acting like fools and puking from not knowing their limits BEFORE the Latins, simply because we Latins have been more exposed to alcohol for longer. So in that case, the Latin has the advantage.

We also have an advantage simply in the way we greet people. Whereas Americans shake hands to greet people, we kiss on the cheek a member of the opposite sex, thus breaking the kino barrier immediately.

These differences in growing up, however, can also be an impediment. I was always raised to think that I had to pay for girls' drinks, and that's totally AFC at this point of our lives. We Latin males have also been ingrained (especially by our mothers) to put women up on pedestals, and that's a big hindrance in being a DJ.

I'm sure that other message boards exist that are tailored to us Latin men, but to me, they're irrelevant because I live in the USA... and I'm also sure that there are a lot of Latins on this very board that may not post because they're just too proud to admit they need help.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Nice post! You are probably having the same success in the states that I am having in Mexico now. Gotta greate a comparative advantage over the competition and being a foreigner that knows language and customs of the locals certainly gets the job done. Makes you unique and interesting.

But I seriously don't think there is a sosuave equivalent in Spanish. But there might be a forum to discuss what to do when you have 3 women pregnant at the same time..lol...nevermind...those macho's have it all figured out....jaja.

johnnyrem,

Of course we all started "as soon as we could", and speaking from personal experience, trust me, you CAN START much earlier in Latin American countries than in First World countries. But let's not take this thread on a tangent... just the fact that we're all on this forum makes us the exception, not the norm. Basically, we're all bad asses (or will be) in at least one aspect of our lives.

rhodey,

I'm not too sure why they cast the more caucaisan-looking chicks because I'm pretty sure they don't sneak-peak their telenovelas to test audiences, but my guess is that in all Latin American countries, the upper class tends to be a little on the lighter-skinned side, and they control the money, the television stations, the media, etc... I guess they just cast the chicks they like, or their own families and friends... and Latin America is a pretty racist place along those lines, right steve38? Mexico is one of the extreme examples...

BTW, steve38, what part of Mexico? I go to the southern part a lot for business, but going to Monterrey in late JAN with a well-connected natural PUA... Like shooting fish in a barrel!
