This may sound like a dumb question but does wearing a hat make you look more seductive/mysterious? And would it be beneficial in anyway? Im talking about wearing it normal (fowards) with it a bit over your eyes.
Radharc said:It can make you stand out from the herd, like a mild form of peacocking. Nowadays when its not the standard to wear hats its a bit like a statement, and its has a masculine old school aura to it, unlike some forms of metrosexual douchebaggery some guys use to stand out.
I cant agree more with that statement, thats basically the Law of Attraction right there. And also it was never to impress anyone. I was asking if wearing it a certain way makes it look more mysterious, simple lol.Galactus said:I realize you're just asking a simple question, and not trying to make a big deal out of it. But keep this in mind:
If you wear something you don't feel comfortable wearing (physically and mentally), that discomfort will manifest itself. You will convey that discomfort to the rest of the world. Also, the act of putting something on in order to impress someone else more than yourself is an act of neediness, which also manifests itself for all to see.
LOL That was pretty funny. I honestly just wear my hat because on certain days its easier then to do my hair. im wearing a hat like thisAtom Smasher said:Hats tend to seem fairly pretentious or "try hard" to most people these days.
In fact, by coincindence, I seriously just wrote a guitar instrumental yesterday that I called, "Hats are Pretentious". Hey, you have to call it something. What kind of hat are you wearing?
Oh, around here we differentiate those by calling them "caps". Those are cool really no matter what your age. I will now have to re-write my song to exclude caps.Crissco said:LOL That was pretty funny. LOL No I would never wear old of those gay ass hats. Never even thought of that. Im the exact opposite, I have full head of hair thank god.Galactus said:Oh, that's cool. I thought you were talking about one of those big dorky fedoras or something retarded like that.
That's not a hat, that's a cap.
I wear one sometimes when I'm out in the sun because I have a shaved head and sunburn sucks. The only downside to wearing a hat or cap of any kind, is that I know a lot of women think that if a guy is wearing one, it's because he has a bald spot. And quite often, that's true.
LOL and what do u consider a real hat?Baseball hats are for baseball. If you have a problem with the sun get some sunglasses and a real hat.
Thats pretty funny bro, at first I thought u were joking about the hat song..now I see ur serious....and im still laughing, lol.Atom Smasher said:It's funny how hats have changed over the years. It looks like back in the day (30's, 40's) most men wore them (at least in big cities). Also in the late 1800s. Nowadays, every time I see a guy wearing a hat he looks kind of try-hard and douchey to me. Baseball or golf caps seem to not have that same stigma.
Yes, as I type this, I am fully aware that we (more accurately, I) are beating this simple subject to death. I gues it's because I just wrote my song, "Hats are Pretentious". I laughed out loud when I saw this post right after I penned my very last note of the song.
Fedora Hats. 10% off! Gotta love it. :crackup:Atom Smasher said:Interesting...
While I'm looking around other threads, I'm getting ads for men's hats! Marketing has come a long way.
