Has anyone ever taken a women's study course?

Okay I am enrolling into some classes for school and I need to take a humanities course. They offer Women's studies for humanities. This is a university course.

Introduction to Women's Studies
An introduction to academic feminism that critically deconstructs cultural notions of sex, gender, race, class and other social stratifiers; discusses contemporary and classical feminist perspectives; and examines feminist work and activism.

Anyone taken a course similar to this one before?

I figured it would be worth it for the girls. But, I don't know if I would wanna sit and listen to feminist propaganda..

I wouldn't be caught dead in there. First, do you really want the type of girls that sign up for that ****, and second even if they are really hot, going to class would be torture and the prof would probably accuse you of being a sexual predator if she saw you hitting on the students.

There are some things I won't do to get chicks. If you want a class with lots of women, take dance.

Im a Psych/WMN Stds Major and not everything that ppl are writing here is true. Yeah there are mostly girls in those classes but it doesn't mean they are hardcore feminists... . Most of them are normal girls. I always picture the guys that actually take those classes as cool guys that are considerate of womens rights and equality. And honestly for me it makes me curios to get to know them. But who knows you might have a whole different perspective and not like it.

Take a communications class or personal sexuality instead. Both much better in both chicks and information.

I took a similar class, met some very very attractive women but omg was my teacher a feminist! I spent hours doing extra credit only to get a 0 which would've given me an A in the course. My teacher hated men and would never acknowledge the men in the classroom. She pulled me aside and asked me if I would've spoken to her like that if she were a freakin middle aged male... (This is after I protested my EC grade). Are you F'ing kidding me???? Thats what I told her and walked out.

Basic problem is that shes in control of your grade.. You have to kiss her AZZ until you complete the course, then you can burn the textbook in front of them...

I hate the course, some good information, but overall hatred for feminism increased... Just my two cents.
