Has anyone been successful in fitness, stopped working out, and felt like sh*t?

I'm a skinny guy, but I've managed to build up 10 lbs of muscle at one time. Everything in my life seemed to improve, and the ladies gave me attention that I have never seem. But the moment I started working 60 hours a week going to school full time, I just had to cut my gym time. Ofcourse I got skinny again (skinnier) and girls stopped paying me attention. heh.

Are girls as superficial as guys when it comes to looks or am I so dependent on my own looks that the quality of life seems different?

Dude it's normal. The fact that everything that comes with lifting, the comments, the physical increase in size, the extra strength, the drive and determination, the "pump", the veins and so on really keep you in a positive mood and you look forward to everything. I recently took a week off from lifting because my body was worn down and I had a wisdom tooth removed. Everyday I felt like I was cheating myself and I should have been lifting. I even felt so bad that I sneaked in a couple of times for cardio and to get a mild leg workout even though my mouth was bleeding(from wisdom tooth removal).

If you run out of time, just make sure you get some sit-ups and push-ups in at home or on your lunch along with a steady diet and your gains won't vanish that fast. Good Luck!

You have to be marketable in order to be attractive to someone. For some all they can offer is looks, for others its personality for other's it a combination of the two. None the less, without having either, you're probably not considered more than vanilla pudding; only noticed when someone steps in some.

At least this is for me, the moment I stop workout or any form of exercise , I feel lazy and tired and I'm pretty sure that shows. So I guess thats what affects my performance with girls
