Ugh.

Don't know this girl very well, but she asked me to be her date for V-day. Actually, she askes me to TAKE HER OUT for V-day. I told her I'd buy her Burger King but that would be about it!

I don't know about this. Even if I'm not paying her way I think it sends the wrong message to hang out with a chick on V-day if you don't want a relationship with her.

Only been out with her on a couple of occasions with friends in the past. I did end up getting a little action from her last night, but then the ASD came out bigtime. Should be able to hit it next time...

She is in the group of bisexual chicks that I know, and I have been wanting to get in on some of that action, so the idea here is to turn her into a fukk buddy. I'm thinking Valentines day crap is heading in the wrong direction. What do you think?

most chicks are deathly paranoid about not having themselves a little valentine boy. they'll have to be the odd-chick-out when they all get together and jabber about what their "boyfriends" got them, whilst the other chick talks about how she didn't do or get sh!t (e.g. no one likes her, haha).

i suspect this is your situation. i had an exactly similar one last year.

bottom line: if she digs you and you're ho-hum about her, you're probably screwed either way.

if you're looking to get her as a fvck buddy, at least acknowledge the occasion. you could play it this way: "gee, neither one of us has a valentine, let's go out and have some fun". i think this would probably move the fvck buddy thing in the right direction.

the trick is to give her just enough of the "romance" because there are few chicks who want to be strictly a fvck buddy. even if they say so, it's not true.

i have a similar situation with a myspace chick whom i'd like to bag as a FB. we've met twice over the last two months, plus 2-3 a week phone. she's cool, kind of a good girl single mommy, 26, fairly classy, who wants some fun company and regular d!ck (it seems).

her b-day is jan 31, so i ordered some flowers to be delivered. i figured that the $68.00 is a pretty damn good speculative investment. i just said, "Happy Birthday" on the card. getting her the flowers (romance) but saying just Happy Birthday is ambiguous enough for me to steer it in any direction, including dropping out altogether.

sinister? yep. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

You're probably right. It's one of those things where a chick loses face with her peer group when she isn't getting the perks that someone in a relationship would get on this granddaddy of all chick days.

I hear ya. Very rarely does that kind of sitution play out where one or the other person doesn't end up wanting more, and it's usually the chick.

Ah, whatever. I don't mind doing something with her that day as long as she doesn't start to get the wrong idea and as long as she doesn't expect me to buy her a $100 dinner.

My cellphone has been ringing rather steadily from women with whom I've been both intimate with and those I only know from phone chitter chatter and friend-girls. I know this is by no means a coincidence with V-day peering it's digustingly tempestuous li'l head around the corner.

What I 've realized is that these next couple of weeks are going to be rough for DJ's everywhere because women need that validation and affirmation that they're needed by someone and relish that flooded feeling Valentines day brings. It's also a way for those who get said validation to throw it in thier sewing circle of friends' faces. Which, as we all know all too well, is more important than any ring or material gift. Women are slaves to vanity.

Haha, I thought I could get away without having to go into that!

The party was a lot of fun, but for whatever reason most of the girls I knew had to leave before I even got there. It ended up being mostly friends of this girls MOM! Lots of 40-50ish women, only a few in my age slot.

Everyone thought my AW friend and I were married.....yikes.

One of our radio stations here has started a "Valentines make up" holiday for guys. This year it's on March 20th. It's called "Steak and Knobber Day" Where your girl buys and cooks you a great steak with all the trimmings then after dinner gives you a Knobber for desert.:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Isn't it called the Steak and a BJ day?:woo:

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

dude, you should take her out on vallentine's day. Go to a fancy restaurant, wine and dine her, and then take her back to your place. This will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Don't make any false promises of love and relationships, but you'd be a fool leave her alone on that day to get plowed by another dude willing to take her through the motions.

I don't mind going out with her that day, it's just that SHE brought it up so why should I have to pay?

The thing about it is, this whole thing came about because she asked me to hold her bag in the club so she could dance. So I asked her, "What do I get in return???" She says, "You get to take me out to dinner. Wanna be my date for Valentines day?" Even if I wanted to buy her a lobster dinner I wouldn't cause it would make me look like a chump.

Will I get laid? Very likely. But to be honest with you I should be able to regardless. And buying dinner on V-day for a chick that asked ME out.....something about that just makes my skin crawl!

I have one other problem with this situation but I am going to write it up in a new post cause it's way off topic.

So what do you do if you have multiple women who want to spend time with you on that day? I have an idea how to play it this year but do the rest of you have any suggestions as to how to handle it?

tell her to pay if she wants to hang out...make yourself out to be a giggolo..have fun with it...I plan on going out on her dime not on mine...

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Pick the one most likely to give you what YOU want and consider yourself a lucky guy.

So what's your idea?

They'll all give me what I want (actually they want what I have) but the problem is how to handle the ones that I don't see on the 14th and managing the one that I do so as to not let it go to her head that I decided to spend time with her (whew).

My plan, unless anyone come up with a great idea, is not to see any of them on the 14th and sarge a new chick on that day. There's bound to be tons of 'lonely hearts' wondering around on that day.

As for the others, I'll just tell them that although I'd love to spend time with them, I'm just working so many hours that week and won't be available. Luckily, these women are 'givers' and will probably do something nice for me after the fact.

Sounds like a plan! Let us know how it goes.

I suppose if she brings it up again I will take her out that day, but it ain't gonna be to Emeril's, that's for sure.

The thing I worry about is her getting the wrong idea. Taking a chick out on THAT day in particular sends a strong message that you're into her. She is either your girl, or she is your MAIN girl if you aren't exclusive. In this case this chick isn't even in the ballpark and I don't want her to think it's headed in that direction.
