i want to change my hair. My hair is straight, i dont like it being so straight, i like curly/wavey hair, is there any way i can make this change, other then perming or any of that kind of stuff, my hair is too short for that, i want them justing timberlake curls!

hhaha na yo, seriously, like i said before i want that all around look, my hair is straight it looks bad, i dont like straight hair, i dont even need curls i just want rougher hair, i'd look better, especially for the area i live in, just cause i wanna look good dont mean i aint down to fight, so lets get off that subject, i just want to be an all around guy. anyone got hair advice????????

Dont wash it for two weeks and when you do...put only a little shampoo in and no conditioner...this makes it oilier and curlier and less fine...comb out the mopiness in it over time and than style from there.

Speaking of hair styles, two weeks ago I decided to change my hair style, well it was not my idea it was the girl that I go to. She is my best friends GF and she has her own salon. I always go there because I can call her last minute for a cut. She talked me in to going a bit shorter using a clipper on the sides and back then cutting the top with scisors. I always had short hair but not this short. So I agreed, she is slick when it comes to judging a mans face structure with his hair. I was never one to change my hairstyle to much nor even think of my hair. What a different look I have now, I like it and so does the chicks. Unbelievable the looks I get from the ladies and big smiles, I always got the odd look before but nothing like I am getting now. also I shaved off the little mustache I had. The girls that I do know tell me how I look more handsome now. I was always a good looking guy before according to what they tell me but now they tell me I shine.
Last night I didn't go out because I worked all day saturday and I had to go back this morning. I was watching a show on TV late last night "the sex files" hahaha, they were talking about how hair is a key factor in seduction. All the ladies they were interviewing said that long hair is out unless your a brad pitt. Short hair and no facial hair is what the majority of girls like. That is what I just done to myself and I think its true because I never got the looks from girls that I am getting now. I never would of guessed that changing my hair style would also change the way girls see me.

Can you post a pic of what it looks like now..then I'll try to give my input if you want. Hair if you have it can really work in your favor. My x, who I hadn't seen in two years just got this new do and he looks really HOT. 100 times better with just a simple change. And for those with no hair, that can be sexy too...Honest. The best idea is to work with what you have and don't try and create something you can't. You want every day to be a good hair day and it took me a long time to realize I just shouldn't fight my waves...

Today however, I am sick with a cold and well, while I feel like crap. At least this place gets my mind off it. My nose is red, raw and sore and my entire body aches! And I am sweating like a mad woman. And not from great sex

I am such a baby when I am sick.. God it's times like this when I really miss having a bf to bring me chicken soup, read the Enquirer to me (always a good laugh) and stroke my head. Watch an old movie. Might seem AFC but I could use a little TLC now..And I would do the same for my man. Heck even more. I would show up in a nurses outfit... THis sucks! I have to work all day tomorrow so I better be feeling better.

Oh yeah, as far as hair.. I like anything but long. Sorry. I am sure it looks great on you. But please tell me it's not feathered or short on top and long in the back. THiS IS A BIG NO!!!!!! NO ONE ON THE PLANET SHOULD TRY THAT.

As far as Brad, he never has done anything for me. I mean sure, I got wet in THelma and Louise and well, okay Joe Black ( the woman in that movie was much more attractive tho! and I am not gay) I prefer John Cusack, Dylan McDermott and the ol' Harrison Ford to name a few. I like my men tall, dark and handsome.. Although my former DJ was a real shortie. Still other than that he worked.

As far as sideburns. Unless you are in a band, a straight hairdresser, lol or a major celebrity.. NO! I mean I would have to see it. Maybe really clean and short ones would work. LIke that bad boy actor.. I can't recall his name now.

A goetee sure.. But for this I suggest only darked hair men. It looks gay on blonds or light hair.. And dark hair, light eyes and short hair, gotee or clean cut no full beard is my favorite.. My last bf looked like Dylan McDermott. SIgh. Salt and pepper I also find very sexy. YOu men are so lucky. Usually, you have great hair and the older you get the more sexy you get.

We women get old and have to really work at it! Charisma no sideburns and no featherd hair or really, really long hair that you wear in a pony tail. I hope yours aint that long Would love to see a pic tho.

Okay, smarty pants!

Here's some tips and it will definitely give you waaaaves!

Take an empty spray bottle and fill it with water. Take about a tablespoon of sea salt and about two -four drops suntan oil. Not colored oil if you hair is blonde. And pick out something that smells like coconut. I love that smell and great for summer. Shake bottle and spritz your hair while wet. Mess it around some and let it dry. Or you can use this after you have blow dried you hair. I do the latter. Do you guys even blow dry? LOL. Sure, you don't.


You can also buy the product already made which might be easier. It has more stuff in it. I have only ever made my own and it give my short hair great waves. Like I've been at the beach

Try Bumble & Bumble's Beach Head. Or there is a product sold at many grocery/drugstores by John Freida called "Ocean Waves".

If you still aren't satisfied then go to a very upscale hair salon. Don't skimp out on this as you will pay the price. They offer semi perm wave treatments using larger rods. Not your old fashioned Jerry Curl. I did this many years ago and it looked great. It did tho dry my hair some so be careful. Lasted up to a year so be sure you want some wave. Also made my hair much fuller. I could still blow it straight if I wanted.

I still say Smarty Pants. Post your pic on here and let us see. Stick with what you have.. You sound like a woman. Never happy with her hair the way God created.

Finally, you could try some curl activator products but I find these don't work unless you already have wave to begin with. For some reason the salt mixture really works and it looks great. I had a guy friend try it and he's hooked. But not sure what your hair is like.

You could also use pure beeswax and simply grow dreadlocks. It will look and feel knotted but you certainly have texture. This look actually can work for some men and some chicks really dig it.

What the hell is feathered hair in men's language ? My hair looks good imho, it's something like 8cm in front, and then overal a little longer, and not a shaved neck thingy, not many people seem to have it here, everybody has that shaved clean cut going on, screw them I'm gonne have it cut a little shorter in front though, now it tempts to hang in front of my eyes

And yeah tamales, I'm doing fine, I hooked up with that older chiq, never thought it was gonne work lol, the bad thing is she already asked me to go exclusive lol. But that ain't all that bad I guess

Oh yeah, and HB I have heard of men wanting to change their hair style and look but wanting to go from straight to curly is a little gay man.. JMO and highlights way way gay. Unless you are a model and doing it for work. But whatever floats your boat Jerry Curl.. Leave the beauty stuff to us tho.. We are much better at it and you can always use our products
