I recently finally had sex at my house with this chick that works with me. She went off telling everybody we had sex and it caused sort of a hostile situation. As at the time I was seeing someone else who works at the same place.

My Prime Girl confronted the girl I had sex with and they are threatening to fire, the "other women". I'm afraid this might spell out on me and I don't think I should be fired. What do you guys think

Yeah - you could have a lawsuit all over their a$$es. You don't happen to be of non-caucasian descent or in a wheelchair do you? You may stand to make a lot of money :)

Yeah unless you work in a right to work state (in which they can fire you for any reason...like here in nevada) they can't fire someone becaue of their off duty relationships. If the girl in question was your boss or directly in charge of you and there were policies forbidding against, then that's grounds for termination but it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Don't dip your pen in company ink, or as a Russian buddy says, don't buy bread and meat at the same place. Never understood that one.

Don't **** where you eat.

Of course there are exceptions. I have ****ed co-workers and subordinates and gotten away with it. To this day nobody at my old workplaces knows about it, and they will never find out.

You just gotta understand how to set it up so nobody will find out, ever. It has to do with psychologically preparing the girl. Some may say "You can't control a woman she will always tell!" But that's not true, women absolutely CAN be controlled, and there are some things they will NEVER speak about.

George Costanza: [pause] Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorence on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon... you know, cause I've worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time.

I'm against workplace relationships, :nono: I know its tempting, I worked with a Women, we always maintained eye contact, always nice to one another etc.

Nothing against the ladies but I can't think of any woman who's worth putting your job in jeopardy.

Wait wait lemme get this straight. You ****ed her. So far so good. Then SHE went and told people?

You don't kiss and tell, thats rule #1, as long as you didn't, let her take the fall for it. You shouldn't be fired for something out of work.. Let her get fired and clean up the mess, teach her to shut her mouth.

Your thread said "Had sex on the job" and you did it at your house. So you work at home? had sex with the house keeper?

Technically, if you get fired for having sex with a co-worker on your own time, and they fire you, you're sitting right smack ass in the middle of Lawsuit Country. Wrongful Termination, as well as a possible Slander suit against the gal who can't keep her mouth (and legs) shut.

If you were on company time, you're screwed, it'd be easier to go ahead and resign, so as to save face at the next job down the line. They'd much rather hear "I quit because I wanted to go in a different direction" than to hear "I was fired for sexual harrassment." (which is what they'd probably try to hang on you.)

Now, about sex with co-workers. Personally, I try to avoid the hassle and conflict of working with a lover. This is what I say when women at work approach me with interest. The truth is, I don't need all that clingy crap while i'm trying to put in an honest 40. Last thing any worker needs is to have his boss reprimand him for talking and not working.

Plus, I've noticed when you are forced to be around a woman for 6-8 hours at a time, and you've been sexually active with her, the women start to overthink the relationship. Usually this leads to more problems than it is worth IMO.

If it is a right-to-work state, like PR said, then there is no wrongful termination suit. Also, there is no slander suit against her, because she was telling the truth.

Ironically, they couldn't fire you for having sex with a male co-worker off the job, because that would be discrimination against sexual orientation, which is now illegal in most states. But white hetero males are not a group with many legal protections.

For the record, I clicked on this thread because I thought the title was awesome. Sex at work?! That's some interesting stuff.

Now if the title was honest and said, "had sex with co-worker," I most likely would have skipped over it.

Now as his punishment for misleading me, he gets a worthless post in his thread.
