I'm 32 right now, will be turning 33 next month. I have started to notice a lot of grey hair on my head. I don't dye my hair as i like to keep it natural. But I feel a bit of insecurity regarding it. Is it something to be concerned about?
How's your diet?
I ask because I went grey in my 40s.... A time in my life when I had a very bad diet (and was carrying a LOT of extra weight)
Around 50 I got divorced and got my act back together - Health, diet and weight were a big part of it.... I cut out refined/processed sugars as completely as I could.
And as the weight came off... my natural hair colour gradually returned.
I'm 58 now and there's only the tiniest fleck of grey here and there these days.
We all know that processed sugars are BAD - But I had no idea the awful lag effect it was having on ALL my physical aspects - Hair included.
My Doc was baffled by it - but the woman who regularly cuts my hair said she has seen it happen in some guys if they get healthy after a period of being not so health conscious.
If you can't avoid the grey though... Own it!
Far better be a 'silver fox' - than look like a 'try-hard' with grey roots peeking from under a dyed solid colour.
Many women see a little grey as a sign of maturity/experience.
