Hey there Fellow DJs,

I couldnt find an introduction section anywhere, so i am doing that in this post itself. Im 25, with a lot of short comings, which if i may add, i want to work on, and i am confident of your support, as ive seen all over this forum. Normally i just drop in on a forum and leave after ive seen what i need. But this time i was touched (yes touched) to find a forum where guys are actually helping other guys without a trace of insult. Hence, ive decided to be a part of this "band of DJs" and spread the warmth! :)

Having said thati come to my first problem. i am FAT! i have tried everything, and nothing seems to work! I think mostly because i am not getting a plan to work with. i searched the net but i couldnt find anything helpful. Yes, i get a lot of, cut out on the carbs, reduce fats, increase protiens etc. Thats like greek to me coz i want to know what food to avoid! Secondly, my feet, esp lower sheens hurt a lot when i walk brisk, as a result, although im pepped up walk fast, and am not out of breath, i cant do it coz my feet pain a lot. I read about sheen splints but i think that kicks in when you run. I get the pain when i walk fast. this makes me upset that if i cannot walk fast, how will i EVER lose weight!

Please advice....

dude, let me give you some encouragement, in the past 2 years I have went from being a 320lb slob to a 172lb in shape guy that can turn heads everywhere, it was a constant struggle everyday, but if I can do it anyone can :)

I did low carb/high fat/high protein(20 carbs a day for 6 months to lose the bulk of my loss) and it works if followed correctly, the past 3 months I have been doing carb cycling with alot of body building and about 6 more months of that and I will be were I want to be

you can do it!!

If you eliminate or severly decrease fat, you'll suffer a decrease in testosterone levels (burns fat, builds muscle, makes you a man) and other vital hormones. This leads to losing less fat. Polysaturated fats actually help you not store fats. You'll also feel less 'full'

It's excess carbs that make almost all people fat. Carbs are energy.
It's about how many calories you eat a day.

Cut the carbs (or limit them) and keep a 500+ calorie deficit and you'll lose weight fast. It's not as hard as it seems.

I'll let someone that has actually lost their fat (like bilbo) continue, as Im just talking in facts I've read.
