Greek Date

Hello Guys,

I am an Asian and dating a Greek lady who is 8 out of 10 but slightly plump which makes her more attractive to me. Could anyone tell me whether Greek ladies are aggressive or short temper. My friends are skeptical on this.

When I met her she is sweet but on the phone she is aggressive. I am little bit confused now. Any inputs about Greek ladies and their typical characteristics will be helpful. I had my first date two weeks ago and now she invited me for dinner this coming Friday. Some suggestions will be helpful.

You can't put every greek into one basket.

However, most I know are quite outspoken and open. They are frank and will say what's on their mind.. there are no social rules forbidding the speaking of one's opinion or having to "be polite" to save face.

Look at it more from an invidivual case though.. and your own idea of what a lady should act like.. which might be at variance with her.

Certainly everyone is different yeah cultural background has something to do with the way some of their personal features may be influenced, but like the other guy says you can't put them all in one basket.

Do your own research find out from actually being with her lol

Hey man,

I'm half-greek so I may be able to help you a little.

While I can't make generalisations I'd describe most Greek girls I know as ditzy. The ones I know tend to dress well and be very materialistic. This extends to boyfriends, so they will seek approval for any guy in their life.

The Greek culture is very male dominated, so they will usually be very responsive to manliness and DJ techniques. However they will expect you to fuss over them and buy them things, and relationships tend to be longer rather than shorter.

One definite thing is her grandma and possibly mother (depending on how Greek she is) will be difficult to impress.

My mother found many Greek women to be outspoken, gossipy and get easily addicted to things (I don't know what it is but so many female relatives seem to be heavy smokers, alcoholics or problem gamblers). Mental instability also seems to be common in older age.

In terms of aggressiveness, some tend to say certain things about others that while not offensive to them, can be for others. Still this is a generalisation. What did she say so aggressive over the phone?

So she invited you to dinner? Surely not at her parents house?

She is studying here in university and invited me for dinner. No families involved. Just that her tone is aggressive ..she did not say anything aggressive to me. But even with little pressure in her studies..she tells me.." I am losing it", "my brain is going to explode"..and stuff..she admits that sometimes she becomes aggressive if she has mental pressure.... but still I think that I will date her for at least three more dates before I actually apply Kino stuff...or is it too wussy...

Yeh don't worry too much, what your saying is not a problem.

She just seems to be a little melodramatic, another characteristic of some Greek girls
