Ive been looking at grad schools and getting information and what not. But i was wondering, why do people usually go to grad schools out of state and not to the same school where they got their bachelors degree from?

In theory, it is to prevent what is known as 'academic inbreeding' and to gain exposure to the viewpoints of other schools. Grad schools are supposed to favor people who did not attend their undergrad program, but it probably varies with the grad program. In practice, grad school admission is very competitive and average starting salaries are often closely related to the national ranking of the school's program. So most people go to the best grad program that will admit them. If you can't get in to a fairly prestigious grad program, then this is less of a concern. Just go where you can afford to go without racking up giant student loan bills.

Are you sure you want to go to grad school? Because from what I've heard it isn't easy at all and you have to absolutely love what you're doing else you'll fall apart.

I am going to get a Masters of Accountancy, but I don't know where yet. I was thinking maybe University College Dublin, but I'm not sure if it would count towards the 150 credits for the CPA... Anyone have an M.Acc.? Where did you go? How was it?

Uhh...im pretty sure. I still have 3 years to decide so im thinking im alright. People go to grad school and law school all the time...even if it is hard. I dont understand why you felt the need to point out what you did; im mature enough to know whats going on.
