As a practitioner of Qi Gong and Tai Chi, I find this to be most disturbing. I just may have to put on my samurai gear and start taking out some bad guys.

Censorship sucks! Freedom of speech rules!


But again the issue is NOT that simple.
1) The chinese government is NOT a democracy, so censoring things that are deemed to be dangerous to the public doesn't really surprise me.
2) Sorry man, being chinese myself chinese, I know how Falun Gong or Falub Dafa operates. It's simply a cult. The traditional chinese Qi Gong is a very efficient way to exercise and to keep a good health. The founder of Falun Gong (the guru Li HongZhi)simply surfed on this wave and added some mystical religious sounding bullsh*t to it. Many people seeing that the mediatation and exercise part works (basically just Qi Gong) swallowed the whole mystical teaching and serve the master...
3) From a geo-politics point of view, the cult has received a lots of official and unofficial support from nations that are hostile to China for political activities, so it's NOT just about the cult anymore. Underdneath lays a vicious power struggle.
4) Don't believe that "democracies" are free of censorship. Living in France, just recently France asked the US service providers(starting by Yahoo) to censor access to some Nazi materials for all connections originating from France...

The world is not black/white and comes in all shades of grey...
