Goodbye.. For now
I may not be a renowned and majorly active poster on this forum, however I have been active on here for a long time, and it is the only forum that I am a part of.
I came here as a scrawny, goofy teenager who lacked self esteem and been on a helluva journey to where I am now. I have achieved more than I could have foreseen and made more mistakes than I could have imagined.
I have come to the realisation that my time on here for now is done.
The time has come where I need to just live my life and not think about the semantics and tiny details of everything. So suave is great for putting the foundations in place of being successful. The book of pook is one of the most powerful things I have ever read and is a must read for any newcomers to this site.
The evolution of the manosphere and extreme viewpoints is another reason for my leaving. It has been around for years however I think it is becoming more prevalent. Maybe not, maybe I am just shop worn with the whole alpha male, red pill, anti woman view points what crop up all the time. They have been here since 2007 when I joined and they always will be. I came here to get into a LTR and function properly in life. Women weren't the reason for the way I was acting, it was me and my actions alone that got me where I was. I love women and being around them, they are there to be cherished.
I am sick of hearing opposing viewpoints which all have there pros and cons, everyone is entitled to there own opinion which people can agree or disagree with but respect is all and more often than not posters get disrespected for there point of view if it doesn't fit the opposing agenda. A true Don Juan in my eyes is better than that and can see all viewpoints
.
I have just set up a new business & bought a house and I can't enjoy these things being sat on a computer debating the 'alpha' way to act.
I had a hiatus a few years ago and that happened to be when I was most successful in life and really found my way in life at the time. I am going to do the same now and will probably be back at a later point in time to hopefully release some knowledge and reflect on my progression!
I guess when you have read all of the material and found your true self the only thing left to do is to brace yourself and go for it!
The DJ bible is a great template for success, however you've got to get out there and make the template work for you in your own way. It is a means of illustrating how to get success, not a manual.
If I could give any advice to newcomers it would be the following:
Rejection is better than regret
No matter what, enjoy yourself
Don't overanalyse things
Actions speak louder than words
Don't spend all of your time behind a computer.
Self improvement is the key to achieving your dreams.
You will never eliminate risk by overanalysing every exchange you have.
Complacency is the devil, avoid it at all costs.
Winners keep on going no matter what and will not settle for second best.
I wish you all well and happiness in any adventures you may have..
