So I'm gonna get some loans for school in the next month and I wanna buy a snowboard soon... what do you guys ride? I've always used my friend's old board, Illuminati. I don't have much knowledge of what's good or not, well some... but what would you guys recommend?

In hell. I'm Satan's lover.
Burton, Liquid, Alien, all good. Right now I have a Burton. Haven't caught any double black dimonds since last christmas at Killington, can't wait! :D

Snowboarding is allright, but skiing is where it's at.

I'd go with K2, Never Summer, Sector Nine, or... Burton (if you wanna be like everyone else on the mountain)

Yeah, I hightly recommend Atomic. I don't know how the situation is in the US, but here in Canada they're pretty rare.

I'm the only person I've ever seen with an Atomic snowboard (though they are well represented in skiing).

It's an awesome board for a good price. Good quality too (made in Austria, not China).

Plus it's a bit of a conversation starter, as talking about equipment is fairly common on the slopes, and something rare like Atomic seems to catch more eyes than the everyday Burtons.

Not that Burton is a bad brand, but the prices are wildly inflated simply because of their name.
