I just barely made it into the club last Saturday because I was wearing steel-toe boots.

I need to get some good clubbing shoes before Saturday night. I work the next three days so I don't have a lot of spare time to go out and get something.

Also keep in mind that I live in Canada so I might need a compromise between boots and shoes. Any suggestions? :)

Wrong forum.

Go to the mall. Go to a store that sells dress shoes. Pick something that matches whatever pants you're wearing. Get a matching belt. ???. Profit.

I'll say this much...when I used to club in college, my roommate wore Timberlands all the time. But he had pairs in darker colors than the "construction site golden beige" and he usually got in fine with those.

retro nikes? pumas? some of the fanciest discos on the planet are filled with guys who wear those. usually it is the annoying clubs in america that cater to the b-list and cell-phone salesmen who are anal about what you wear.

Tims - can't really go wrong with those.
Jordan's

I got both, and just alternate between those when i go out - depending upon the weather.

Nikes are universal in MANY varying types of shoes...each type fit certain feet.

Basically, you want to find some that LOOKS GOOD and FEELS good.

Try out all the different types, Jordans, Lebrons, retros, AF1s, dunks etc....each are made differently.

But beyond Nike I suggest these brands:

*Creative Recreation
*Adidas
*Converse

Timbs are alright but that standard color is the only one that looks good for me...but its essential to my arsenal

This is the greatest shoe for clubbing. I'm buying them once I have the money.
I love that shoe! I'm gonna be getting a nice pair of Diesel Jeans for that shoe with a 61E wash.

I also need club shoes for this saturday too because they wont let me in with timberlands or running shoes anymore. I'm thinking of getting some basic black dress shoes.

if you're talking about these one's , i dont think so .

They are not comfort , not that good looking . They are worn mostly by rockers , emos and goths . I like them , they are nice , but not the best ones . And i dont think they are for clubbin . They arent classy .

And i dont know why are you waiting to make more money to buy em .they cost only 30-50 $ maybe . Its not expensive .

Lately, I've been wearing Mephistos boat shoes, sniped them off ebay for $89 retail is $275. I also have my steel-toed Wolverine W04244 work boots that I wear from time to time to keep people from steppin on my foot.

Buy some sketchers. Some of the new dress/sport shoes are stylish, comfortable, and easy to dance in.

They're not that expencive either making them my go to brand these days for dress casual events such as clubs.

Somewhat like that except sexier.I live in Canada as well and bought shoes similar to these for like 70 dollars at this store called Spring. It goes amazing with white pants but also even with jeans aswell
I like your style. 70 bones is a good price for casual shoes!

Here's the skechers version I'd buy

The print makes the difference for me. You can wear them with a black or a brown belt.

I'm confused why you think I'm talking about that shoe you just linked to. I'm referring to the shoe in my post that said "this is the greatest shoe..." where the link is in the "this". They're 75 dollars plus shipping.
Because they are the same one's except they have short neck and are all black .

Those are the Lacoste Frames. I've gotten quite a few compliments from the ladies. I just love the simple and clean look to it. Looks good on my feet.
You can't get into most clubs out here with laces and white shoes unfortunately...Sucks cause my kicks cost more then most casual shoes.

Anyway when i want to wear white shoes I default to these.

No laces, sporty again, and doormen don't turn me down when i wear them.

Does anybody else wear designer t shirts to clubs? My roommate is really into that these days? My room mate does it all the time and he's styling! I prefer collared shirts cause that's how I roll but kudos to you if you pull it off.

Are there any nice Sketchers that don't have the Sketchers 'S' logo or the word 'Sketchers' on them?

Most skechers don't have the logo anymore. That was an advertizing thing on inception but since they basically started the casual sport market, they don't tag all of their shoes these days. Look at the shoes I just posted. They have the logo but it's not really noticable. Alot of the jet black shoes they make have it in the sole but not in the leather which is a good trade off.
