Going to London! Where do I go? What do i see? chicks???

As the title says I am going to London for about a week!

This is my first time here and I want to know what I should see. And more importantly where are the best pubs and clubs?!?!?

If anyone has any advice for this American please reply!

Here are some clubs which I thought are quite good:

Tiger Tiger - near Picadilly Circus
Gardening Club - Covent Garden
Ministry of Sound - Can't remember, was quite far
Fabric - Farringdon
Turnmills - Farringdon
Elysium - Regent Street

Clubs to avoid:

Hippodrome - as the review said, "scraping the barrel of society"
Thai Square - chicks will love to take you here because it's free for them, too crowded and the music sucks
Capitol Club - or whatever it's called, next to the VUE cinema in Leicester square that looks really bad. Well, it is really bad.

I live in London and cannot complain about the quality of women do not forget that London has many foreigners from all over the world living in the city.

Stay the hell away from the London Seduction Society.
Last time I was there they wanted to go to Croydon. Don't EVER go South of the River (away from the Underground) unless you like having your head kicked in.

if you want cheesy crap, full of tourists and idiots with no imagination, plus under age kids runnning around drunk starting fights, then hang out in the west end and tiger tiger and places like that...

For trendy bars and clubs go to old street shoreditch area...

for even more trendy classy up their own asses type girls hang out in notting hill or chelsea/fulham road..

if you want indie chicks go to camden..

if you want to imagine you're still at uni (college for americans) then go to infernos in clapham, its like a massive student night, but its stupidly expensive and crap..

It all depends on what sort of music you're into and the type of girl you're hoping to meet, I've been in london for almost 2 years now, so I know most of the areas pretty well and what I like..

In general I avoid leicester square and piccadilly circus like the plague due to the overcrowded crappy chessy touristness of it all..

Just don't sarge on the tube. Heck, I tried starting a conversation at 8am one morning with a stranger like I would anywhere on a bus or train outside the M25, and everyone looked at me funny.

London is the worst place in the UK for friendlyness by far. Generally, the further north, the better.
