Going to Club by yourself

I was wondering what your thoughts are on this? I was thinking of going to the club, just to approach chicks.

I would go by myself and usually end up bumping into people i know.

I always see guys attend club by themselves, even on the dance floor. Then after 15+ minutes you that same guy dancing with a cute female.
