I've finally decided to start my recovery from AFC. I've been lurking these forums for a while now, but I never went out and put this information to use. Now, even though it's a bit late, I'm going to start to reform what's left of my high school days and make it amazing. It's (about to be) my second semester of senior year and I need to make things right.

My Goals Are:
1)Be More Social!
-This one is obvious. For some reason I fell out of my "zone". Back during middle school and up to freshman year, I was the man. I had strong inner game I suppose, but for some reason I became the quiet kid when I moved to another school. It sucks that I decided to expand my social horizons so late in high school, but there's no point in complaining now. All that's gonna do is give me an excuse to not go down the Don Juan's path.

2)Gain some muscle!
-I'm about 6 foot 2, and I Weigh about 155 pounds. I can bench my weight, but I need to work on the rest of my body. My goal is to be able to bench 200 pounds.

3)Get better at guitar!
-I got a guitar for Christmas (last year), but I rarely touch it. I need to actually sit down and learn to play it. I hope to buy a new guitar when I get better. Maybe an Ibanez or something.

4)Stop procrastinating!
-This is something I do all of the time. I put off my homework and projects until the last minute, I wait a long time to do things that could just be done then ad there. I guess it's because I'm kinda lazy too. I need to fix that.

5)Girls, girls, girls
-This one is pretty obvious. I want to expand my horizons. I don't plan on trying to sleep with every girl I see, but I would like to at least have a much stronger female social circle... And get laid too!

I'll be updating this whenever I make any advancements, and I hope you guys will give my the advice and support I need for my journey.

For goals 1 and 5, I think I'll start on the DJ Boot Camp. Ill just chat up random people when I return to school. I just gotta go out there and do it. Rejection is better than regret.

For 2, I already lift weights at school, I just don't exactly know how to gain muscle quickly. I'll make sure to use the information on the Health and Fitness board and elsewhere to assist me.

For 3, I already have an instructional DVD (somewhere around here). I just want to learn the basics first, then I'll get a better setup when I get better.

As for 4, JUST DO IT. I won't find a distraction from a task, I'll just knock it out then and there.

Nice. You might not think so, but the DJ boot camp requires a lot of dedication. You actually have to set off time to do it. Make time for it.

Do a LOT of research while going at it. You will not regret! And do Ass-to-grass squats. Consistency, form and heavy weights are key. Start out light, so you get in the form. Rest, food, workout.

www.songster.com <- I found it yesterday, learnt 2 songs already. Great site, but maybe a bit advanced. Download tabs from guitarpro etc, just google stuff. Learning to play songs is one of the most effective ways to learn guitar. Also try finding different techniques for warming up etc.
www.vguitarlessons.com <- quite expensive, but that was the first site that got me into playing more at home. Nice breakdown, but u can do it alone too. Maybe u can find them on piratebay. He has free lessons too.
Making it a habit is key.

Procrastination is just a different version of fear. Self-control mate. I'm still working on this one too. It is actually in our nature, watch the blueprint de-coded to figure out why.
Bold.

Well it's been too long since I've posted. I guess procrastination is more of an issue than I thought.

Thanks for the supports, it'll help me really soon.

The advice you guys gave was great too. The Book of Pook was great! It gave some good info and some motivation.

I've also read the How to Be Social post (and others like it) so I know what I need to do socially, I just need to get out of my comfort zone and do it!

My 'e' string on my guitar broke and my picks are too damn thick, so my guitar goal is gonna be on hold for a little while.

The only issue is my weight lifting, which I'll start on Monday. I'll have to eat lots of protein and get some supplements from somewhere. I'm gonna miss my junk food.

Starting Monday i'll be posting my progress regularly, most likely daily so i'll stay on track with my goals and not get lazy and put it off even more than I already have. Wish me luck!
