They are both useless garbage that will do nothing but burn a hole in your pocket.

The only supplement worth taking is creatine and that's even in question, then there is pro hormones of course.

Glutamine is overpriced garbage for the most part.

Meal replacement powders are good to stock up on, because they just make it easier on your diet so you don't have to cook as much. EAS makes good ones

I disagree, glutamine has helped me tremendously with recovery time and its been proven to increase your levels of growth hormone by 4x if you take it before bed. Still, its not magic - you have to have a solid diet and workout plan in order to get any benefit from it.

If you're going to use it get the powdered form, its a lot more bang for the buck.

I would have said the same thing about meal replacements as you just did regarding glutamine.

You can assume silverwex is sold on the "benefits" of glutamine, so I'll recommend the powder, as it is cheaper and easier to control the dosage of. I'm partial to prolab's glutamine powder, but that's only because it's cheaper then the others available to me.

Just remember to take the powder on an empty stomach (i.e. first thing in the morning, and b4 bed) in addition to b4 and following workouts.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, glutamine is worthless.

Read the studies i've posted in this thread.

That's fine, I'll keep using it though. I've read other studies supporting its use. All I know is that personally it has helped me w/recovery time no doubt about it.

I've said it before and am saying it again...

What works for me, may not work for you. What works for you, may not work for me.

I've been taking Glutimine powder for years. Would I see a big difference if I stopped? Probably not. If I stopped all my suppliments? Probably. But, I've found the right combination of suppliments that works for me.

Glutimine is good for recovery and your immune system.

Suppliments and meal replacements should be used in addition to your diet, not insted of. You have to a have proper diet to begin with.

Mail order is the way to go. DPS Nutrition. By far the cheapest I've found...
