I tried a reverse approach too a routine I normally do. I cold approached a hottie at school last thursday and gave her my digits. This girl texted me an hour and a half after I initially gave it to her.

We texted for a bit and she told me her major and what kind of stuff she did work, school etc..

I ended the texting first and then proceeded to initiate contact two days later and she responed att work.. Well she didnt text me back later and neither did I. Its been 4 days since I met her and I don't want to blow it.

What is some advice yall could give me on where too go from here and what you would do in this situation?

my advice is not to do that in the future as she is totally in control with this situation (you giving her your no), why didnt you get hers as well ?
so she sent you a mesage but you should have got her to meet up and see you.

why couldnt you talk to her face to face rather than text, its hard to be mr smooth, and mr C+F over text....

I agree with Kingsam:

-I'd say always get her number. Don't give her your number unless she gives you her number first. Usually, I will ask a girl for her number, then call it ON THE SPOT. If her phone rings, her reward is my number. If her phone does not ring, then I know she gave me a fake and I NEXT her.

-Texting is good for keeping in touch or sharing a spur-of-the-moment joke. Texting is not good for long conversations. As Kingsam said, take her out on a date and have the conversation there.

You should have busted her balls for texting you so quick but made it sound like a joke. Have fun with the texts at first... Don't go into "interview mode" with texts. Leave that sh1t for face to face contact.

I didn't even know it existed for a while. Then I looked it up on Google and found it. It wasn't until about 3-4 months later before I found out that it was at the bottom of the site. They should put it up top somewhere, in big letters.

And besides, people want the quick fix. Scrubs aren't gonna read all of that. Not until they see that the quick fix doesn't work.

Giving her my number was purely experimental. She texted me back rather quickly in which even I was surprised. She initiated contact through texting though and her first text was "What Is Up!!!"

The girl clearly has some form of interest.

So I found out that I have a service problem with my phone and my texts really havent been going through to anybody.

This girl straight up told me "I just got out of a year and a half relationship cause he was cheatin ha im just chillin and not looking for anything"

But this girl took my number without hesitation and likes to initiate contact with me, What Gives?

Do I pursue this?
