Personally, I think the feminine men thing is yet another anti-male theme championed by our man-hating liberal media and hollywood. Turn on your tv, and the archetype of the "traditional" man is depicted as a drunk who beats up his wife.

Well there are scientific researches showing that women on the pill are more attracted to feminine men, so those men are more "in" recently. And then there are of course the dandies who have been around for centuries.
Half of the guys who come to sites like this can get a GF but are often miserable and not getting what they want out of the relationship. Not all who come here can't get laid.

I have observed this too.

Sometimes though its not even about physical appearance, you can just tell when a guy is a weak-metro-beta. Its all about attitude and confidence. I do some metro-stuff but I don't like act like pvssy.
The OP mentioned how one guy gained confidence from being with a girl and the other would follow girls he liked around. Sounds pretty AFC to me.
I don't have anything against metro-guys, they make me look good. Just like how the abnoxious roided-up backwards visor wearing deuce-bags make me look good too.

What makes you think that there is a rule stating: All AFC's do NOT get laid.
There is no absolutes to this theory of AFC's. You CAN'T state that all of them AREN'T getting laid.
And the subsequent problem with labeling someone an AFC is that you could never be 100% sure if they really are an AFC. Maybe they are shy and quiet around YOU, but when they are with their girls, they are assertive and take command and are dominating and that drives them CRAZY.
This is why we must be very careful when assessing what is AFC and what isn't and who is and who isn't according to OUR standards. What could be AFC to you could be Alpha Male to that nerdy chic who likes anime.
In the end, even if they are true AFC's, they are most likely an exception to the rule... simple outliers... and eventual candidates to having their hearts broken when someone better than them shows up in their girlfriends' lives.

You should have seen this one guy a girl I know used to date. He had these 'bangs' . . perfectly straightened hair, going down half his face. I told her many times how ridiculous it looks. I swear he wore makeup too.
And in the liberal-er parts of this liberal part of the country, most of the time the girl is dating another girl, or a twerpy hipster with clothes he must have gotten from the kid's section they're so tight. DJ's these men are not, I can tell you that. In fact they're often shy and reserved clones of each other.
